So today I fucked up n flooded my basement with 30gallons of RO water....
I use a 32g brute container with a float valve. Simple flow valve and a chunk of garden hose at the bottom....
Filling and swapping my 4 flower buckets tonight, and got distracted by the 1yr old screaming over the baby monitor.... and instead of flipping the valve to OFF, I switched it to full ON and walked away.... (I use partial flow while adding nutes to mix as prevent over fill while measuring etc.)
Sad part is.... I have a damn flood alarm... came free with the RO filter.... Its just... mounted by the filter... 2 rooms away...
No real worries/damage, just a lot of lost time... basement has sealed cement floors and a floor drain.... (of course its just slightly higher than the rest of the floor but, meh... better than no drain)
But now I need to wait for 20 gallons to filter thru.... hours...... hours.....
