Throwing good water away?

Hi all,
I took a reading on the water from my dehumidifier and came up with a PPM of 40-44. I cleaned it out, set it on a small stand to drain into a clean pail, took another PPM reading on what came out and came up with a PPM of 28-22. It is very humid here in the summer and I have to run dehumidifiers in my house. Instead of purchasing water, why not run the water from a dehumidifier? Sure, it is not the 4 ppm like RO runs, but 20 ppm is not bad either. With a lid on the bucket, maybe it would be the same as RO water, I have not tried. Just an idea to toss out there and see what happens to it. Maybe this has been discussed before but it sure seems like a safe, cheap, secure way to deal with water problems to me.

why 2 threads? using that water is fine. Anything below 100ppm is. its usually not enough to feed multiple systems though

No, plenty of water, I pull 5 gallon a day through the two in the basement alone. I saw several people worried about not having RO water, thought this may help them.
