Thrips keep returning

Like the title says, I have a thrip infestation that I can't seem to get rid of. Ive been dealing with them since about august. I have been using neem about once a week, and it seems to keep them under control, but never seems to kill all of them. It is also making my house have an overwhelming neem smell. I also used a bayer rose and flower insect killer that was suggested to me by a worker at a garden store. It seemed to work for about a month or so, but I think it may have also killed several of my seedlings. I have heard of the monterey garden spray is good, but I haven't seen it at any stores. I couldn't find anything with spinosad in it. I may order some on amazon if it really works. Anyone ever use foggers indoors? I would rather not if I don't have to, but after a few months of this I am ready to try anything. Open to any and all suggestions.

People try to shit on this recipe all the time, but 91-99% rubbing alcohol (half cup), mixed with some lemon juice/oil (~1/2 tablespoon), a few drops of dawn, a tbsp of neem if in veg, and (1/2 cup) warm water. Mist all over plant. It breaks down the waxy shell of most soft-bodied insects, then kills them. Otherwise I think get azamax

Thanks for the reply. I do have most of that laying around. I'll need to get some lemon juice though. I'll check around to see if I can find azamax anywhere. Trying to avoid online orders because I have some freshly sprouted seedlings that are ready to be potted and I dont want to wait a few days on the mail and have more plants get infected.

if you want the effects of the lemon juice, make sure its not from concentrate. Its a hit or miss solution anyways, but you get very similar results with and without the lemon numminess. Go ahead just skipping the lemon, hopefully you'll see how effective this "quick fix" is in your own personal outbreak (again no guarantees on this)
GET EVERYWHERE though. I found spidermites on the bottom of all my baby spiderplants pots, living off their badass rootsystems. Them guys is evil.

Waiting for three hours for the plant nursery to open. Hopefully I can kill every living thing in my basement besides my plants. I already lost about 150 dollars worth of seedlings.

Good luck.
A slightly diluted mix of that recipe once every ~21 days, can help increase CO2 uptake through improved stomata function. Basically you clean the pore so it can work as its supposed to.. Increased wow factor to any pics of your leaves.

I have no earthly idea..it was like 2 years ago. I just followed the directions on the bottle. I was worried at first but that stuff killed them dead as hell. I was like "huh, that was easy".

If your having problems then you may be in an area where people have managed to make them resistant to common pesticides

i used this brand with spinosad worked great on spider mites View attachment 3324414 4 tps per gal View attachment 3324415
I got this same stuff. I had a horrible thrip infestation. Now i havent seen a bug in months

If you have thrips, i would go to any length to get this stuff.
what i did. Mix 10ml spinosad into a 32 oz container. spray leaves once or twice a week. bugs wont disappear overnight, but just know you've done what you can do and they WILL be dead soon. Took about 2-3 weeks for me, but i had them bad. they were flying around hitting me in my head and shit.

I had a similar problem a few months ago. Spinosad (cpt jacks deadbug available at Lowe's), azamax and neem oil killed em dead but it took about a month of treatment 2 times a week. Good luck brother.
