Just a suggestion. Other yield increasing tip would be to look into ScrOG!
You'd better get 10oz + ... Coz this baby here, she yielded 10oz, dried, manicured and jar cured for 30 days. Just in 20L bucket DWC styles. - Excuse the burn on her, was my first ever attempt at hydro. The yellow leaves are fine, gave her no Nitrogen for the last 4 weeks of flowering (out of
so the autumn colour was expected, encouraged in fact. The brown burned bits were my bad

Seriously, why people still using 1000 watters??? ... If u plan on making any changes to your setup and wana see increased yield, my recommendation, ditch the 1000W, replace with 2 600W HPS using digital ballasts (they save power compared to standard magnetic ballasts - and are just better all round really lol) ... You get better light coverage, more lumens, you can get the bulbs closer to the plants with 600s, light dissipates over distance, so the closer you can get those bulbs to the plants the better!

i hear ya on the 600s... my tent is 8X4 so if i had 2 600 instead of the 1000 ide be able tp use the whle thing but the bulb and balaset was given to me so i cant complain... im pondering on the 2 600's after this is done or a light rail... the light rail will be cheeper but the 2 600's will give me waaaay more lumenis... sumthin for me to ponder on for a bit.. thnx for the inputYou'd better get more than 12 off that or ima b pissed off!!! haha

no man... theres only 12 clones in 2 lt bottles, the rest is 7 bushes in pots... the clones r an experiment to see if i wanna do a sog like that but after this i dont think i will... like u say, lotsa work watering them plus they need it more often.. ill probly jus stick with the super-cropping

i dont completely agree with the 2 600 watt idea but its worth a try, you have to realize your nuggs wont be as dense and hard as they would be under a 1000watt hps therefore affecting weight however the extra light coverage of 2 600 watt hps could make up for that.
You mentioaned you didnt do anything regardging the nitrogen deficienies, whats ur plan for the next run?

I think that this would be a modest estimate and that twelve oz is a realistic estimate
thats pretty much how i came up with a 12oz estimate, but was just curious as to what others would think
nitrgen defiecency??? r u talkin bout in my journal??? if u r then yes i gave them sum nute but i dont think thats what the deficeny is... it did take a bit of the yellow out but them brown spots r still there....

like i said earlier, its been yrs since my last grow and this is jus my second so i dont rember how much the last 4 weeks will do.. in the last 4 weeks, how much more will these swell??? anything i can do to fatten them up besides molasses... i wanna keep my nutes to a minamil for various reasons.. thnx

I was taking into account you have a bit of time left. You'll get a little more than a pound. I say keep the leaves and make hash, too. That way you'll get a couple grams of hash and a couple ozs of weed.
i normally make butter with the trim... i always get my friends to hook me up... i like eating it so...

ya, plus i like to share... goin to a party with a batch of brownies will go farther then a block of hash... plus i have nvr made hash, seems like a lota work as aposed to boiling water for butter... i always keep enuff trim around all yr to make oil for days when i run outta weed

I personally would definitely go with 2 600's over the light mover. Although it will cost a little more in the short term, in the long term it will quickly be made up for in extra harvest weight!!!
