Thoughts on 2-in-1 tents

Do these work for a year round grow? I imagine the mother in the bottom half of the side must have root ball issues after 6 months..
Is a standard 3x3 tent just better?

I've seen them before, they look really interesting and it's a cool concept design, but i imagine a lot of problems with it..

- Light leaks between the compartments. And different humidity and temperature requirements.

- Even if the separation wall between the compartments is fully sealed, i don't see how the exhaust fan would exchange the air.

- The small opening hole in the smaller part is supposed to be for cables, not another exhaust fan.

- Another problem for me would be cable management, too much hassle for my patience.

- The smaller compartment doesn't seem adjustable in height, which it could be useful.

- The bottom right corner seems vulnerable, if you spill some water from above it will go directly on the light electronics below. Or drops of dirty water will rain down on the plants. You would have to completely waterproof the top part and be careful not to spill, which isn't always possible.

And it seems kinda flimsy but that's just a first impression. I think this thing would have to be built like a fridge to make it worth.
I would just get separate tents and make it simple.
