can you get arrested (in california) for having kief on you? because technically it's not marijuana, it's just THC and maybe some other compounds, but it's not the plant in general.

the charge...It's a STATE law in CALI. FED law supersedes any state law. Thats what those douchbags told me..I was honest with them because I THOUGHT the shit would be cool..

but don't california (i'm assuming it was the CHP) cops have to comply with only california laws, because their jurisdiction limits them to california. that's what federal agents are for. they have jurisdiction on US territory.

no it was in sherman oaks...I argued that with the cop. But they do what they want to do..Cops get away with fucked up shit all the time. The charge was thrown away in court tho..I was just pissed cause I had a 1/4 oz of some killer nugs I bought a dispensary.

i know a sheriff deputy and he said an officer, deputy, whatever, can take your stash... it's just the giving it back he can't do, because then he himself would be breaking a federal law by "distributing" marijuana. even if you have a medical marijuana card, even if you obtain from a co-op or dispensary, it's distributing and still a federal crime.
