I cant wait to see how this grow goes. I have always been interested in verticle grows and that is how i have my little 250w hps setup. I have it in a cool tube and the exhaust works on it. But i really want to see how much you get off of your first grow. I bet it will be great. I want to get another 250w hps and try a setup similar to yours but on a smaller scale.

The jb quik weld appears to have done the job. I will be installing the cool tube tower today.I might have to install an A/C in the room if the temps are to hard to control. I want to have this thing filled up in a week. Most of the clones are now 6-8" tall, just have to play the waiting game then.

Go to the Depot and pick up a "sharkbite", they are available in 1/2" through 1" sizes and just slide and lock onto the pipes. Easy Squeezy.
They are seven bux or so.

That might have been an option before i applied all the JB weld. The pipe is covered in 3 layers of it now. But like i said I think the leak is fixed, now its time for the fun stuff

i want to see how your waterlines and res setup comes, im interested in this
If you look at the pic on the 2nd page of the thread, you can see my ebb and flow lines. The res is 70 gallons, but next grow it will be 3x25 gallon or 4 x20 gallon reservoirs. I want to be able to have a perpetual harvest, so each tier will be 2 weeks ahead of the tier below it....make sense?

This is the description for Mr.Nice-

According to weed folklore, the original G13 cutting was rescued from a government research facility by an unknown technician. In civilian circles the plant`s earth-shaking Indica potency, together with her tale of liberation, lifted G13 to almost legendary status. Creating seeds that captured G13`s astounding qualities required a very special pollen-father, which was eventually found in the Hash Plant breeding-program. The resulting G13xHP seed-strain, though a `limited edition`, was a great success in the few years it was available. In 1999, Sensi Seeds was very proud to bring G13 x Hash Plant back into production with the title Mr Nice, in honour of Howard Marks - cannabis campaigner, author and one-time hashish entrepreneur. Indica connoisseurs will love the mouth-watering `double Afghani` bouquet of Mr Nice. Dark, earthy undertones are overlaid with the rich, spicy-sweet scent of raw resin glands. When consuming the stickiest nuggets, the taste of burning trichomes can be strong enough to convince people that they`re smoking a mix of hashish and ganja. For growers seeking a dense, heavy, ultra-powerful crop and anyone who enjoys testing their limits, Mr Nice - G13 x Hash Plant is the ultimate Indica!

So my water leak is fixed, i cut out the old pipe on soldered new stuff. The cool tubes are up and temps are an issue, of course. so im off to buy some fans for the floor and a small window A/C unit. The plants will be in by sunday, maybe sooner if they get to big. I still have to install some wire around the supports, these will be used to support the plants so they only sag as much as i want them too.

Subscribed. Wow, never seen anything like that. You're an innovator to the marijuana industry! Question, and forgive me if I missed this from an earlier post but how far away are the plants from the bulbs? It looks like a couple of feet from the pic. IMO you might be better off sticking with the 1000 watters over the 600s if you have that kind of distance. Seriously, I can't wait to see walls in that room fill up with green. Awesome job!

thanks, but I didnt come up with this. I have friends that have been using this technic for awhile. Im just trying to improve on it, and make it affordable for joe blo. There is about 2' between the plants and the lights. After this harvest I will have a better idea of the conditions. I want to use 3x600w because the electrical would be about the same, but more light spread, and i can add another tier.

Im running the first heat test. my last will be on at night, so this is a night time run with 3 floor fans and no A/C. if i need an A/C i will run out and get one tommorow. my temps with the lights out run between 75-80 so that all good. winter will be here in a few months so that will be a whole other thing to deal with. good times good times.
