OR you top them and train them so you have combat solid little plants
I have seen some killer small plants grown from members here

technically yes....it will produce buds but seriously, people who flower babies should not expect GREAT results.
Plants have growth cycles and you are missing the growth cycle completely by flowering babies. They really are NOT ready but people do it regardless:-? I don't get it either.
:blsmoke:
but will the plant not be mature enough to produce buds????

Yes that picture, it has been topped and trained so it stays small BUT it is a mature plant. Not a baby like some people are suggesting to do.
Thats actually a lovely plant. :D

Yes but when you said to flower after the 4th node, most plants would be about 3 weeks old.

That is flowering babies.
Yes they will be forced to flower but that is NOT flowering mature plants.
Its still flowering immature babies.
Sorry ....just my STRONG opinion;)

I haven't tried inside yet (this fall), but the logic of flowering "small" plants escapes me..ya I get the SOG thing, but that takes numbers..I alway question why some want to early flower only a couple of plants.... to me.. grams are better than joints.. n'est pas ?...... although those power little flowered clones always kill me, as Lacy said....

exactly....and the thing is you end up getting stronger healthier plants. The healthier the plant plant the better the buds etc etc etc
