got a 1000 watt led cob full spectrum never used a led before and was wondering if i could put the light closer or should i move it further away?
this is my grow is my light to close to my plants?

Why is it blurple? 1000w at the wall or is that in the product description? What kind of light is it?
1000w of CoB's would be at least 10 cob's (probably 20), and it wouldn't be blurple.........
Also, are there lenses or reflectors on the led's? It affects how they focus the light. If there are lenses or reflectors, don't put them too close.

the blue purple is from the 80 watt led light on the side i have going just as extra light i guess lol

You have five chinese cob's running at less than 50w each (probably about 40). That might not be bad, but it isn't 1000w.
The problem will be spread. If you put it too close you will have really weak light at the edges. I'd leave it high and see how the plants respond.

so its not what it said it was? the light isnt good enough to do a full grow? my plants are growing really quickly since getting this light from seed my plant is 4 weeks old today

200 w of cob light (well, cree/vero/citizen at about 4k) with that configuration is enough for a 2.5 x 2.5 space, give or take. These aren't cree chips.
Will you finish? Sure, but your buds may be less dense and less fully developed than if you have a more powerful light.
Is it a 1000w light? Hell no. Is it equivelant to a 1000w hps?? No. Not even close. A 1000w hps is good for a 5x5 space all by itself.
Is it clever marketing and fancy wording? Hell yes.
