Damn, well I was on my way home yesterday, when I decided to make that the day that I was getting that San Pedro cactus. So I called a friend who knew how to get to the cactus store, and he directed me to Massachusetts street in Lawrence, where I found the store. Closed.

So after that I eventually ended up in Kansas City to participate in "a-day-in-the-regular-life-of-my-Kansas-City-native-friend-from-school."

So I went around smoking marijuana with them, and I did a whip-it [Naughty whip] with them.

I smoked more and more... and more.

I was ridiculously high.

I did another whip-it.

Then I just chilled for another hour and got more high.

I got up and when I got to the hallway, I felt dizzy... it gets a bit weird after that, almost like a dream, but I guarantee that this happened... I started feeling a little out of breath, remind you I'm too high to think. It felt like I was pulling in air without the oxygen. I started breathing faster. [I think back, maybe I actually hyperventilated.] I saw myself in the third person, then it all went black, then I woke up on the floor.

Was this an asthma attack or what?

But I stood up an went back into the room jumped on a recliner and rode it for three hours, I was totally pale-white-faced until about an hour later...

I have no idea why this happened... any ideas?

I'm not too worried about it.

Here's another odd health thing from the same day.

When I was doing one of the whip-its, My leg started bouncing up and down, outside of my control, and did this for the duration of my high... never have I ever got that either... I'm starting to wonder if I fucked up my body or brain somewhere along the way...

Until that recliner ride I was running on about a 5 hour sleep deficit too... I don't want to attribute all of this to that though.

I dont know whats the problem but I nominate for thread title of the year.

This use to happen to me a lot actually. Were sitting for awhile down on the couch doing whip its?

If so standing up suddenly can cause you to blackout, somthing to do with no blood going to the head??

Once this happened to me and I cracked my head open and the side of a metal stair.

I've had something similar happen to me 3 times. I was drunk, stoned and in a hot area every time it happened. It could be a number of things though. I would attribute it to the whip-its (those will cut off the oxygen to your brain) but you said you hadn't done one an hour before that right? So that wouldn't explain it. It could also be anxiety attacks or dehydration. I don't know much about asthma attacks, but I would think that if you were having one, it would feel more like you couldn't breathe rather than just not getting much oxygen. That's why I think it might be anxiety. I get anxeity attacks from time to time and I get black outs and it feels like I can't get enough air. Not that I can't breathe, but that I need to take deeper breaths to meet my body's oxygen quota.

Check this out.
Maybe it can give you a better idea.

Combination of lack of sleep drugs and getting up too quickly. I've had it happen to me too, not for a long time though. I try to sit down if I ever get the tunnel vision starting to black out thing going usually goes away after I sit down. Mostly happened when I was overtired and super stoned.

Do your whip-its standing up if you must do them. As you start to stand up and walk around the brain has to share the mutilated oxygen source with your muscles. The brain realizes insufficient oxygen supply and shuts down the motor functions, basically rebooting while oxygen supply replenishes.

Unless you passed out while doing the nitrous (as it is a Dissociative Anaesthetic).

TRPP, are you tall? I notice taller people have this happen (low blood pressure?) more frequently.

You probably passed out simply because of a rapid change in your blood pressure (from sitting to standing), which causes oxygen and glucose to rush from your brain rather quickly.

As to the reaction you had to it (like the dreamy state, etc.) was probably due to being really high ;-)

I wouldn't worry bout it

I think it cause you got up to fast specially since you were high. but it could be alot of things...............but its not rare for people to faint/passout/blackout when high
