so im running a 600w in a guest bedroom, i have a fan in the window of the room blowing outside air under the light. im in the northwest and the weather is hot as fuck right now and my room that was in the constant 70's a couple weeks ago is now at a constant 100 degrees!!! what can I do?
The A/C in the apartment is broken so the landlord peeps have to come fix it if thats my only option. I cant plug a portable A/C unit into the room because the circuit will blow. i cant even vacuum without the circuit blowing. +rep to anyone with some usable feedback.

get a bigger fuse so you dont blow the circuit. sounds like an exhaust issue. I have a closet grow and one fan pumping in and one going out...stays at 75.3 usually.

Just get another fuse dude and put in a window unit. If your plants are at 100 constantly they ARE NOT going to make it. I have a 5x7 room with a window unit set into the wall and getting intake from an additon to the room. An electrician is here to help you if you need to know what to do, but whatever you do don't leave it at 100. 90 is MAX.

TURN THAT FAN AROUND SO ITS SUCKING THE HOT AIR OUT OF THE ROOM..(LEAVE THE DOOR TO THE ROOM OPEN IF POSSIBLE TO LET IN FRESH AIR)...also if you can get some fans in the room to help move the air around.and to blow on the plants is a plus..stick a bucket of fresh cold water beneith the lights..it will increase the humidity which will lower your temp with the fans....samething(a cool misting humidifer)
If that dont help..get at me..ill fix ya up with the list to make a cheap vent system..30 bucks tops..and u have the fan already..

its weird your getting so much heat from 1 600 watt light. I use open hoods with 1000 watt lights in 4x4 tents with just a fan blowing temps stay around 870 max zipped..

What you are refering to is that in order to use co2 and benfit the room temps need to be around 80 to 85 for best results

look this over https://www.rollitup.org/grow-room-design-setup/167842-air-handling-4x4x8-430watt-flower.html & https://www.rollitup.org/grow-room-design-setup/176444-mother-vegging-clone-attachment-70-a.html

I run all of this in a town house apartment (use two diff plugs on two diff breaker)

I have most in a 4 foot square room I made in the big room.

Maybe one of the pictures will help.

also this photo album may help https://www.rollitup.org/members/leo-kitten-grower-52692-albums-2009-spring-maintance.html

big light off to see stuff

beautiful thread! whered u get the screens for ur dryer box that fit so well?

i just turned the fan around, and put a fan blowing air throw the somewhat open door thru the room from the house. the a/c is working now!!!!!!!! so the house is at a pretty nice temp, hopefully the room will catch on.

I took 1 x 1/2 x 8-0 and cut to fit. then nail together. staple a screen to it and tape over any thing sharp. The first wedges about 2" up above the inlets. The rest stack on. I have 4 in the container. my next grow i'll covert a trash can so i can hang the whole plant.
