Thinking of growing - Need some advice

I am quite excited about learning how to grow marijuana. I've been reading up a lot, watching documentaries.. I really believe marijuana is a miracle.

As an absolute beginner, I have some questions:

1.) Seeds. Which seeds should I buy? There are hundreds of strains and every website has a top 10 list that differs almost entirely from the rest.. what is considered the #1 strain? There must be a go-to strain, right?

2.) Lighting. I'm thinking of starting out with 1mx1m or perhaps a bit bigger. I understand a certain amount of lumens is necessary which is why fluorescent bulbs are not recommended, but I happen to already have four 135w flourescent bulbs, which I believe are rated at 6,000+ lumens per bulb. They are 5500k, so I don't know if that's a good or bad thing. Is that good? If not, what is the best option? I would like to save as much money in the long run, so I'd prefer to go with LED if it is recommended.

3.) Temperature. I live in Israel, so the fact that it's winter isn't a big deal. The outside temperature gets to 9C minimum, even in the middle of January. Indoor temperatures are 12C+. Am I supposed to make sure that the temperature in the room is always above 70F? How fickle is this? If very, how do I monitor the temperature and make sure that it is exact?

4.) Type. As far as I understand it, I'm looking at either Feminised or Auto-flowering Feminised, right? I want it to flower as soon as possible, so I should get the latter, right? What do I lose by choosing auto-flowering over just feminised?

i try to keep temps at 82 at the tops as far as breed any indica dom plant will work fine if you want yeild autos are not the way to go but you will also be limited by the light 400w would serve you far better than cfl but ventilation is a must . There has been lots of debate on fems ive used them for years and never experianced the so called short comings hermis and the like good luck

Personally preference on seeds, indica, sativa (say you want to harvest as soon as possible so indica is your best choice). Minimum wattage per plant is 100w, the bigger the plant the more watts, cfl's aren't as good as HID but do get the job done. It's a weed, temps can change but 75 is optimal all around. Auto flower are "lower in potency" and you have no control over how long you can veg, but flower very quickly, but you can just go 12/12 from sprout with regular seeds too =)
