Think I got a deal?

It's a great deal if you can't afford to go digital. I have no idea what brand bulbs or ballasts those are and if they will be reliable and have longevity, but for 200 with the extra yoyos and a timer it ain't bad.

Time will tell if you got a good deal.

I buy only Lumatek and Digilux now but I had some no-name magnetic ballasts and bulbs at one time and it worked out for my beginning grows.

Good Luck

Thanks guys. I really hope it does the job for the first few harvests, then I definitely wanna go digital. Is there much noise difference between magnetic and digital?

I just sold somewhat better new in box ( I won it at a raffle and had no use for it) for 130 bux. If you're in a medical state you can pick up new or barely used stuff at a fraction, no guaranty but if you pay 50 percent of something that's been used for a month or two and someone throws in the towel (common ) then they're ready to sacrifice, craigslist.

I'm not so lucky, my state isn't medical marijuana friendly, so it's hard to find good priced stuff around here.
Right, then you got a pretty good deal, I'd watch it for reliability though, probably swap out at least the hps bulb for a nice hortilux or something along that line, some of those bulbs are pretty weak.

Yeah I was definitely gonna pick up some spare bulbs just in case. I'm bidding on a carbon filter kit (cf, inline fan, & ducting) right now. Those are the major two things I need besides a Co2 tank and regulator. Hopefully I'll have everything I need to get started within the month.

Right on, look forward to the grow, good luck.

I hear ya bro, I'm in the same shape here too. Not 420 legal nor tolerant around here, and you gotta be careful of the Craigslists and such around these days. I inquired once about a lot of equipment once on Craigslist only to find out in the meantime the seller had been involved in a major bust. Had nothing at all to do with me, but there I was answering his ad and texting his phone with questions about his items and I sure wasnt comfortable to find out why he was selling all of his equipment.

You got about as nice a deal you'll get on new equipment and it'll work good for ya.
Good luck
Dont forget to have fun
Have reasonable expectations

Quit a bit of difference. I can't hear my Lumateks or Galaxy at all. Now if I could just do something about all the fans!

duct silencers work wonders , my grow uses a 8 and a 6 and a 4 inch fan and without the silencers it is like a damn jet engine , soon as I added duct silencers it made a huge change. well worth the $ or $ + time to build them.

you should post the auction here before bidding and ask if it's a good deal. ,,, don't buy a Active Air brand CO2, buy a Titan or a C.A.P. ... it's a few more $ for those two but you will only get a headache with the $ saved by getting an active air crapulator.
