that my horticulture degree program requires memorization of a list of 150 ornamental plants by their latin names. i dgaf about ornamentals, i'm going to learn myself about growing weed.

Lol so do you have to take courses in Latin as well? Sounds like a bitch. Why fucking ornamental plant?

no idea why, the dept just got a new dept head and the old one, some old broad, that was prolly just the way it's always been done there. i asked the new dept head if there was an alternate degree path and he said not at the moment. i just don't get what benefit this would give a student...memorization like this is grammar school shit and really has no practical application. i'm never going to run a landscape company.
