what makes me laugh are the people on this forum with the knowledge to help beginners, instead would rather make and comment on such an asinine thread as this,then actually lend a helping hand, along with a kind word to people wanting to learn. its obviously much more fun to stick out your finger and say " nanny nanny boo I know more than you!!" as if you were born with this knowledge. if no one ever helped you or gave a single word of advice carry on. but remember you were once a "noob" as well.

not sure the intent of this thread was so sinister, although there certainly are some mean spirited folk on this forum
and there are some imbecilic noobs too, who could perhaps do with some lessons in politeness ?
sometimes its rewarding to help noobs , sometimes noobs will blame you for their own errors
when they do this i do not get offended i just will no longer assist them
i do not believe spoon feeding is the best policy either, noobs can sometimes act in a very ungrateful manor
they expect to have their hand-held, when they do not get the answers they wish to hear they act in a mean-spirited way
of course i think these types of noobs are in the minority, most of them are reasonably polite and willing to help themselves
just a few bad noobs spoils it for the rest of them. could be one of the reasons we get threads like this one

this is an asshole thread...that being said some guy. once told me he knew all of his plants where female cuz the males would have shown balls already.. this was in the middle of may outside in cali and they where already 6 feet tall and super streachy....and one time some guy talked a great game about how he knew how to clone how hes cloned hundreds of plants anyway this guy walks up to my plant and starts cutting leafs lmao good times...

I am pretty noob myself but thankfully am smart enough to look for answers before asking so I don't think I am guilty.
What drives me nuts are long, train of thought posts with no punctuation or paragraph breaks.
After I try to read it five times I have a vague idea of the person's set up but only vague and it really isn't clear wtf the question is.
That and the "urgent help needed" posts about which brand of ph pen to buy.

sorry if you read any of my friends but uh I'm using the speak to text program because I'm retired US Army and haveno arms so when I speak this stupid machine doesn't put in periods exclamation points doesn't even finish that sentence for me sometimes it putsso what do you get grown and looked at my journal let me know what you think

We all gotta start somewhere,and new people sometimes ask questions they may not know the answer to,SO WHAT!!! Try being helpful instead of bragging or bitching so much, cause not 1 of us started with the knowledge we know now.IMO people should read more but we all know there is a 1000 answers for everything,so people look for the most reliable source one being RIU.So stop laughing at peoples pitfalls when they ask a question you are not obligated to answer WEED TROLLS.
