UPDATE

Haven't been out the bush for 10 days or so hopefully won't have to go for another week. Plants at home are going ok still tons of Gnats flying around but haven't seen any aphids and no more distorted foliage. Im trying to let the soil really dry out to get rid of the gnats but it rained today so the soil got quite wet. I Gave them a spray with some mighty wash this afternoon. Also started a Big bud x Northern lights auto.

here are some pics.

Thanks mate! my mates got a sage n sour outside in the ground its killing it! not sure about how the one in the bush is going haven't seen them in a while. Im hoping the ones in my backyard are as good as last years but not to sure, they are going alright and nearly on par with last years at the same time but i have had nothing but trouble with them. Both are supposed to be massive yielding strains so hopefully can get a couple elbows each but we will see!

heres some pics

heres last years plants at the same time as this years

Props on the girls nug , they look great!
Do you plan on defoliating some of the fan leaves on your backyard plants? Iv got a g13 outdoors and its very bushy like your plants and not sure if it will require more airflow during flower ,or should i just let it do its thing?

thanks mate, I am away on holidays for the next month so had to leave the girls! left a mate in charge so hopefully its all good. When i get home i will start clearing some of the undergrowth and small branches that won't produce. Many mixed reviews on defoliating during flowering i didn't really do it last year so probably won't again. Only if the fan leaves are really blocking the sun ill pick of a few. Goodluck mate hope it goes well!

This plant is so vigorous it will almost triple in size in flowering stage when rains come.

UPDATE

Ok so back home from overseas now. Plants are looking good, don't think i will pull as much as last year at this stage but i have one of the nicest little plants I've grown so I'm happy.

Left my mate in charge for the month while i was away and he's done well, No problems at all. The weather here has been super hot lately and have been told we had a temperature of 38-40 for a week straight, 39 again today and same tomorrow. Most of the vegetables in my garden have been burnt and are now either dying or dead.

Before i left i built a small frame for an outdoor scrogg for the the THC bomb. While i was away my mate scrogged it, but i found it too bushy underneath when i got home so today i lifted the screen off and will now just lst and tie down all the branches.

just an indoor for me.. Scrog is all about getting even light distribution to all bud sights..thus getting them to grow evenly..
thus more large tops..i would say do it! What have you got to lose?

Nice plants mate, how dry is it over there at the moment?. Good rains over here and lots of sun too, I have 2 Malawi clones and 3 Panama seed plants put out early december.
They're about 5-6ft tall now and still have 3 weeks of veg left at least. Cool summer in NZ this year, but the plants are growing just as good as any other season. Is the heat stressing your plant at all? 40 is pretty high. Can't wait to see your plants in flower mate, is the thc bomb flowering yet? they are in NZ.
