Welcome!

This is the very beginning of what will hopefully be a mid-size (yet incredibly epic) organic soil closet grow.

Seeds: 10 Aurora Indica from Marijuana-Seeds.nl
and 5 Mazar Afghan from same (free)

Germination:
I'm planning to germinate with the standard method and use Jiffy Pellets for seedlings.

Lights:
I"m going to be running the 400w HTGSupply system with the MH and HPS conversion.

Setup:
I'll be outfitting my closet with a mylar lining, 2 box fans, a homemade carbon filter If i an make it effective with my fans, possibly an ozone too.

I would love all the encouragement, advice, opinions, comparisons, etc. I can get! I'm going to attempt to take a picture a day for the duration of the grow, seed to harvest.

Here's what were starting with, seeds should be here any day now.
(pictures in next post)
Picture #1&2: My cleaned and vacuumed closet space. I have

Length - 5 feet
Depth - 2 feet 3 inches
Height - 4 and a half feet

Picture #3: 4 and a half feet above the ground, there is a mesh rack with my boxfan on top of for upwards heat removal, my 400w conversion hps/mh system will be right under that fan hung from that rack.

I will update again when I have the mylar on the walls, unless I can get panda plastic somewhere around here.

More to come!!!! Subscribe, and check back often!

Oh wow.

Its been busy, but heres an update.

All 10 AI's germinated
3 of the Mazars germinated

The mazars took longer to germinate, but are growing twice as fast! Literally
The AI's started great but are now going slow.

AIs were planted on sunday at noon, making them 5 days old today
Mazars are from Tuesday Morning, making them 3 days old.

The two tall mazars are already bigger than all the AIs! Pics to come...

Everything is in soil now, planted and set in the closet... Im really hoping my weaker seedlings catch up over the next 24 hours...

Temps are 80 and im trying to keep the humidity up

I dont quite know what going on... I was using high alkaline water turns out, i am now using a good ph distilled water with a 1/4 solution of grow big. I dont know what to do! Half my plants look great, and some of them have crumpled tiny leaves!
Some haven't grown by my eyes in several days!

check the pictures and advise if possible!

I am keeping them moist, and the ph is down to about 6.5 i think. I gave them a quarter solution of grow big today, just to get a little nute back into the soil since the flush happened 2 nights ago.

I have seen growth, the mazars have just about doubled in 2 days... but ALL the AI's are crumpled looking, they are growing but everything looks wrinkled and compact, they arent flat like the mazars. UGH.

Pics soon, any ideas guys? they are all growing uneven, twisty, wrinkly, curling, leaves in the exact same conditions the mazars who look amazing are in.

Temps have been low 80s, humidity in the 30s, still trying to get it up. this has been crazy from the get go... The mazars look absolutely amazing! Still seeing crumpled growth, ive been looking for help on this and not too many people have had any advice other than dont worry.

Pictures of the problems and a bit of mazar amazingness.

Morning Update,

Growth is increasing, still not as pretty as I want but were getting out of the crumpled overwatered ph alkaline mess. My current focus is letting the plants grow and letting the sol dry out, as it is still coming up wet on my moisture meter (lowes) and i know they need a couple days of dry to get back to normal.
I turned the topsoil to get some oxygen in the roots and dry out more of the soil. This is also helping the humidity. I moved light a bit closer, it is now at 20 inches, this should help evaporation as well.

Big Update, Lots of pictures.

Well they are just about done drying out, i am watering the mazars as they are using more water. They look good, leaf curling and yellow on the one mazar is still an issue though... any thoughts folks?
