For real that is the garden of dreams for many of us ;)

Hey gang day 38 of flower, my aces in super soil and apollo running low on N... bottom up yellowing accelerating and the aces are turning lighter shades of green... they look to be day 56 plants 63 max what would you guys do? I think they can probably make it but they'll be down to their last top fan leaves if I don't give'm any food. Apollo looks to go at least to 63 maybe 70+.
I may consider a small topdress, but its a little late on the AOS, I prob would if the yellowing is getting bad and leaves are dying, your around the time of them putting on weight and it may hurt your yeild if you leave it, you can always just Leach the soil a week or two before harvest if ur worried about residual. If u gonna do it tho, I'd advise doing it now rather than leaving a few more days to see how it goes.
I would topdress the Apollo, as ur about half way thru, if the AOS is just fading slightly, I'd be tempted to leave it.
I'll add though, I haven't grown either strain before, so don't have exp. on the strain, but in general, that's what I would do mate.

Good luck bud!

Yeah I probably will do the apollo today... my super soil is just finishing up it's sitting period should be about ready to go by now... I was thinking for the Aces more of a dose of Pure Blend that way it'll be in and out of the plant's system a lot quicker than topdressing. I still got some PB grow lieing around.

There's been talk on the Nerd about the best way to store a relatively long time hash and flowers. For hash or kief, it's easy, simply put in an air tight tupperware container and freeze it. Contrary to what Frenchie says and Sub my believe freezing trichomes simply suspends them in time. They are not made of water so they do not expand and rupture in any way when frozen. Another way to store hash longterm is Frenchies method of activation. This method allows hash to be stored at room temp for long periods without losing terps.

For long-term storage of weed the best way is the freezer as well. Here's how. Say your flowers typically take, say 7 full days to dry to where the water level is just right. At 5-6 days wrap about a half pound at a time in Saran Wrap. Wrap well so it stretches and contracts the weed forcing much of the air out. One year later you can take out the half pound and finish drying it just like it was harvested 5 days earlier!

The freezer is a weed nerds best friend. If they would've had freezers in Morocco they would have used them. Freezing cannabis properly simply suspends it. It does not cure it.

The fact that nobody in the history of hashish has ever used cold to store hashish or unpressed resin glands is strange when you think that ALL producing places in ALL producing countries are high mountains places with plenty freezing temperature.

Also I'm not sticking my weed in the freezer, lol, the longest my weeds lasted was about a year and a half and still tasted fine, like year and a half cured weed funnily enough ;)

prob worth doing if u need to store for years, but who does? As far as hash goes, I personally believe once its pressed it could last years without much change, infact people do store it, hash in morocco is sometimes kept for months if not years in keif form till its pressed, as far as I've seen in doco's etc. though I'm sure frenchy could clear that up as I don't know for sure!

Pod also mention if people do try this, I prob wouldn't use a fridge freezer as they don't get cold enough, you'd prob have to use a chest size deep freezer.

First batch of super soil mixed, little wait and then get to see what it's about. Right now all I can say is OUCH! Prol shouldn't have mixed it by myself with the condition my back is in.

Yeah weed and hash stay pretty good in the freezer, seed may germinate many more years when kept at lower temps... Even at room temperature shelf life is considerable though. The obvious enemy, which induces rapid deterioration, is heat. Avoid storing at higher temps...

As for outdoor growing, this vid from Arjan, is pretty awesome. The only thing I could compare this to, would be the exploration of large ditch weed fields, that I've been on...

There is very few people that I dislike and have no respect for, the strain hunters are at the top of that list.

Well, I think a grower should make a choice. Either press and activate using the Frenchie method and then leave at room temp for the duration. Or freeze. Freezing suspends the trichomes is all, you can press and activate years later if you'd like. I have never frozen activated and pressed Frenchie hash so this is why I am making the recommendation. I have used the freezer to make hash and store pot for 25 years and will continue to do so for the next 25 years because it works for what I have.

Why? Maybe you know something I don't but I don't see anything from the videos to dislike (other than the guys maybe being douchey sometimes lol). I can see dislike, but no respect is a pretty strong statement! Personal experience?

I want to go strain hunting in peoples closets that have done this for 20 years. It's almost impossible to find good feral anything outdoors. The genetics are in growers closets. It's kind of funny, because every place they hike too, the local strains have ALREADY been crossed with dutch or American bred strains. Even the locals know the score...

I adopted the Dank Tank glasses look. Didn't go for the translucent colors or anything wild. You'll often see the Seattle crew with these. Here are the ones I got.
