The War at Home

With everything that has transpired I can't help but feel like the war is over.

It began with a monopoly on raw material for the production of paper, was stoked by the flames of racism, and has been used to promote financial caste and disenfranchise millions of people around the world. There is no morality in the enslavement and torture of an opposing group of people. We will have a future in all of this chaos. Every failed educator who has ever berated a child with the idea that they will never amount to anything will feel remorse or starve upon their own misunderstanding as we move forward into this new era...

I began smoking cannabis at the age of 13 in the state of Texas and have been the victim of public demonstration with the support of law enforcement. I've experienced the resources a governing body can waste given the support of a hateful group of constituents. I've witnessed the collective idealism of people amass into a weapon of mass destruction.

I refuse to allow the hatred to continue. After the events of January 6, 2021 it has become evidently clear that these "non-smoking" terrorists will use violence to promote their agenda. They'll use our tax dollars, against the will of the people, to withhold benefits guaranteed by New Deal legislation in times of severe crisis. They've shown no restraint in almost a century of prohibition and only wish to pass on those beliefs to their children.

Do you think yesterday's events have ensured the MORE act's passage through the senate and ultimately Biden's signature?

Law or no law I've been through too much and will live the rest of my days as if cannabis is legal.
