Vo be very carful adding super thrieve to your res man it can cause massive bactiria outbreak! Brown slime
Yeah in a bad res environment superthrive and other enzymes could reek havok. Read something about it I think on heisenbergs slime thread because you're not adding good microbes into the res and just their food so if there are bad stuff in the res it'll feed off the enzymes and explode in slime growth. This is what happened to me I suspect when I had my encounter with slime. It makes sense because I was running h2o2 which kills good and bad stuff and then I changed my res and put just superthrive in and in 36 hours I had a HUGE problem in the res. I'm only learning now why.

What % H2O2 are you using and how much per Gal. I have never tried this and was thinking about it. i guess I want to add a bit of VO to my grow. Any advise in this matter would be appreciated.
I use 7ml per gal of 30% every 3-4 days which is what ABF recommends.

Would of been the best choice to wait for better roots but as long as you top water somehow you will be fine!
How long do you wait? I've waited until a good spray of roots are out but by that time their bottoms are tannish in color and the ends are burnt. So someone told me to get them in something sooner, so this new grow I started I put them in when I saw the one taproot, now i'm reading that this is not good, :(

Yeah? I've never looked into it, not doubting, I just figured if a guy could be that successful at growing he'd know what he was talking about.

This was for flood and drain, I was wondering if it'd be different for DWC since the roots are sitting in the water all the time. I'll take it down a notch next dosing.

And I thought you couldn't use 3% & 18% because of the added chemicals

I have heard all kinds of things about H2O2 As far as I know the only additive in the 3% is distilled water. I don't know what to believe so I'm keeping it as low dose as I can to get the results I want. Well hey this is Vo's grow thread don't want to clutter it up with this. I spend alot of time in The Dissent Grow thread hit me up there.
