The VO Grow #2

About to shoot this week's update. Look for it here in roughly an hour.

Gotta edit/upload now. (And by edit I mean add music and pics, VO Grow(s) is(are) uncut as always.)

Had a bit of an issue uploading, so I'm having to reupload. I'd say about another half hour, maybe more.

I tried HoN and I wasn't impressed.

i felt the same way about LoL haha. idk. apparently lol is where its at for the money though

Fed both of my hoes more today because they look hungry for P-K.

Hopefully my local head shop has something nice and reasonable for me, but we'll see. It's easier to just get a piece online most of the time.

lulz they're so small but aight hold up

The deficiencies are also KILLING my speed.. feh

Keep in mind this is like 20 days after sprouting.. they'd be bigger by now if I didn't have to fight nutrient issues this early.

BC1 already has the bottom two initial leaves missing.


And BC2 just the "pseudo" leaves or "sproutling" set have been clipped. Anything I clip, ever, is always dead if it's this early.

How do you keep your sprouts so close to the rockwool? Mine seem to sprout 3 inches in the air before the centers open to produce leaves.

probably having the light on them as soon as they sprout...i cant count how many times ive seen when they sprout the lights aren't turned on for quite awhile...thus the 3 inches above the rockwool/soil.

were all guilty of it at some point in our growing lives..i know i am.

I keep my lights on them since before they germ (thumbs up) So maybe its cause my CFLs arent close enough. I dont dare putt my seedlings near my 600w.

dtis is right..

They sprouted under the 400w mh which just happened to be at the right level to keep them from stretching.

Don't germ under lights, germinating seeds don't like light.

until recently i always sprouted my seeds under a 400w MH (ofcourse no light till i see them pop up) now i have a T5 HO in my closet which is strictly for vegging and a 400w HPS in my flowering tent.

i never had any good luck with CFL's.

I'm not a big fan of CFLs either.

agreed..they just don't have enough lumens.

I did some sh!t last night I forgot to log (whoops..)

1. Added another dose of every type of nute/microbe.

2. Ph'd down three drops BC1 and five drops BC2.

3. Took one of the initial leaves from BC2. I'm sure I'll have to take the other one within a week.

Going to add a regular dose of nutes/microbes to both BC1&2.

BC1 is showing nitrogen or phosphorus deficiency.. They're really hungry for such small plants. I also have to ph down both of them again, as I'm still struggling to get to 5.8 from 6.0^.
