Every time I pull the roots on an auto in a big pot like that they are never solid. I suppose its from the short grow time. They will fill the bottom of the pots sometimes but should be plenty of room for the flowers.
I don't know about filling a pot, this 'so called' auto I posted about a few pages back is nearly filling my bloody cabinet! Lights are at their highest point!

Shortstuff shark bite auto should be a dwarf plant ready to harvest 8-9 weeks from seed. Someone forgot to tell her. This is just starting week 9 and only just showing first signs of starting to flower, probably only because I switched to 12/12 about a week and a half ago to try and force her to start. I had to put the globes back on the bulbs as she grew into the bare leds overnight once and burnt some leaves. Luckily I think stretch is just about over, I had to super crop some stems to spread her out and looks like I may have to again. She already fills the depth of the cabinet, so I can only go sideways now.

I was hoping I could have started one of my sour livers while she was finishing off, but there is no chance now until she is totally done. You guys will probably have grown your sour livers, dried, cured and done smoke reports before I even get chance to get my seeds wet!

Same here I had just one that filled up a five gallon fabric pot all the way, I could barely poke my finger into the dirt anywhere

It probably wasn't an auto. Mix ups happen or sometimes its a screw up in breeding.

Here's 2 sour livers the biggest is 4 days, smallest 2. I have 2 more one in 3gal and 1 in 5gal. Also have a Skywalker from the last I'll be including. It's a week young. These 2 I'll be transplanting into 3 and 5 gal containers, debating whether or not to put one in ground. I saved one also so I may use that one for the ground when weather has stabilized, still somewhat cool around here looks like we'll have a break come Tuesday. Also I know some don't like to use the peat pots so I'll show you how I do mine. I like to think it's pretty effective and doesn't slow down growth. Big thing is to read directions lol wet thoroughly when placing in larger container. Looking forward to growing with you guys. Sorry I bummed out on the Skywalker grow.

My SL seeds popped up in less than 48 hours. I'm still waiting to see if the northern lights autos I planted at the same time will pop. I'm very happy with how fast they germinated in the rock wool cubes and I placed them in their 3 gallon grow bags with recycled roots organic. This run I will be using the full line of Mills Nutrients that I scored from the Heavy T Grow Show. I will also be using recharge, cannazyme, and Mamoth P. I'm pumped to see how this turns out. Oh yeah, I also picked up a new Can-Lite carbon filter so if they stink as bad as advertised I should be covered.

I see alot of that, 12/12 with autos. I guess it's personal preference, but you can give them alot more light. I'm the guy that really believes in dark period, plants soak up energy by day and put on fiber/growth at night. Autos can take more light though. If your in a tent with photos I understand, but I'd still try and stagger times some, just to give the autos more. Putting outside can help, nothing beats the sun. They look good though @needsomebeans
