Well my seeds been above ground for about 9 or 10 days now they're working on they're 4th node now should have camera back by end of week for pics. Just gave them a real light feeding flora nova from GH and some of this nute I got for free from the hydro store called lightning start it's suppose to promote root growth and vigor so far I like it. These are some of the fastest growing plants I've ever seen!!
Flora Nova is some boss stuff. My plants on my last grow LOVED it when I switched to FN Bloom. They went from good to "praying" in a matter of hours in hydroponics after I switched to it.

****Ok gang, I need some advice.
I plan to start my Skywalkers in about a week to give my current protoperiod crop time to finish in the flower room. I have about 4 more weeks left on it.
If I started 5 of these autos, would they likely get too big for a 4x4 veg room(already have 2 small mommas in 5gal buckets currently in the veg room) in the next 4 weeks or so before I could get them into the flower room after I harvest my current run or would I be best to hold off another week longer than I plan just to ensure that I'll have room and they dont outgrow my space available in the veg room. They will each be in a 5gal hydrofarm bucket. I have zero experience with autos and how big they get in a given time frame. Any advice?

Well I also have zero experience with autos aswell. mine are in a 4×4 tent in 3g pots I only had 3 beans pop as 2 were damaged in shipping and I have 1 other in a 1g pot just for comparison but I usually do 6 photos in a 4×4 in the same 3g pots with a 3 to 4 week veg and alot of lst training so I think you'd be OK to start them

Started mine in rapid rooter planted into 3 gal pot as soon as I saw roots poking through the rooter I got 2 of them in 3 gal pots and 1 in a 1 gal pot for comparison also have a Auto grizzly purple in with them in a 3 gal pot watered them after they went in to pots and didn't need to water again until today 9 days later and 1 of them still didn't need water have them under a 600mh now with crazy amount of airflow they look real happy wish I could post some pics ah well soon I will

you don't need to put them in your flower room, that would just slow them down, leave them in your veg room the whole time, they're gonna flower anyway, why cut back on the light they're getting when it doesn't matter.
as far as i can tell, the best thing to do is pop em, then plant the sprout right into the pot your going to end up in. i know that flies in the face of the traditional transplant wisdom, but it just slows them down when time is a factor. same with topping.
the one i'm putting in soil and the one i'm putting in coco will go directly into the 3 gallon pots they're going to live in. the one i'm going to put in a hempy i will put in a small cup of coco till it developes a decent root ball, then it goes into a 3 gallon hempy pot.
as far as size, they can get big, but most of the time they seem to look like a real healthy S.O.G. plant, not a load of side branches, one good cola and maybe a few popcorns unless you lst them a lot, they can take that as long as you don't go too far overboard, but they're never going to be huge bushes

Unfortunately I have insufficient lighting to flower anything off in my veg room. My current photoperiod grow finishes up in approx 4-5 wks.
I was thinking about starting the autos in my veg room 2 weeks from today, then when they are approx 2-3 wks old from seed, my current grow will be harvested. I can then move the autos from my veg room out into the flower room where I have far better lighting and I'll be able to dedicate the entire flower room and light cycle (20/4) solely to the autos with zero space/light issues. I have 220+W of LED & T5HO lighting in my 4x4 veg. For my 8'x10' flower room I have 400W of LED COBs and (2) 1K HPS available. I'm hoping this will work out ok and not get too overcrowded in my veg room. Guess we'll find out soon enough huh lol

You should be fine with that plan bro they'll be small enough still to not cause problems start the autos 2 weeks before harvest then they'll be popping their heads up only a week or so be4 harvest time and you'll be all set and in that size flower room man you should pop some of those auto Mazars you won so you fill your space up and can get back to your photos when the Comparative is done

Ideally, I'd love to run all 5 of the Skywalkers and the other 3 Blue Mazars all at the same time, but start them all out in the flower room after my current run is harvested. Then I could start the 5 Skywalkers and the 3 Mazars under some proper lighting from the very start. I don't want to hold the program up so I'm gonna pop all 5 Skywalkers for this comparative. Should be a fun ride. :bigjoint:

You won't be holding it up man there's others that aren't starting right away either as long as you post your results here I highly doubt Jack will care if you wait an extra 2 or 3 weeks than you were planning man. Just let him know what you have going on then get in it with everyone

@evergreengardener is right don't rush the process we would rather see you grow under the best conditions possible. Two years ago we had people starting 1 to 2 months later the thread was alive for like 7 months. I still have 2 left from two years ago and 2 left from last year. was planning on doing a grow with all three but like you my rooms are full so i just platted two of the skywalker for now and will do the larger grow in about 30 days.

Yea i really like dutch pro. Started using em a few years back when it made its way to the states and i havent looked back. When i got here to CO i couldnt find it, so i ran H&G base nutes this last run with some left over Dutch Pro i had and i liked the results. Ill probably run the same strains next run with Dutch Pro and see how they compare.
I understand that H&G is the best of the best. Is that your opinion too? The flower nutes bottle is supposed to be just packed with solids. I haven't tried that line because I was told that they are really expensive. Just curious...

Somewhere, I have a cell number for a Dutch Pro rep that is supposed to be in Co.. If memory serves, he is responsible for the the entire U.S. Dutch Pro market. If you want, I can dig it up and pm that to you so you can find your Dutch Pro nutes.

got 3 soaking right now, plan on putting one in a hempy, one in 70/30 coco/perlite, and one in good soil, just to see whats what.
A comparison within a comparison, I love it!

I think you shold be fine in a 4X4. They shouldn't get very big until the stretch
