15 years, seems like yesterday, I remember the day you started the thread lol. I'm still on 4x 600hps, price I'm paying for electricity is frigging scandalous. I may change to led if I can save enough to buy a few belters. Hope life has been good to you brother. Evening Men. ;):-|
I am liking my led, went for the migro 250w last year and I haven't regretted it. Not sure if you're familiar with mass medical strains, but he is often pushing MH now. Think I'll do another grow or two with my leds and try MH just to see if they're any different.

Electricity really isn't that bad with the 250w, probably adds around 30 quid a month to the bill

a 250watt mh will cost about 18.90 a week.
18/6 hrs = 4 1/2 units. @ 60p a unit (check your cost per unit)

There's no need to go buying a chlorine test meter.
The instructions for mixing up a chlorine stock solution are straightforward and well tried and tested.

If the ppm is that important buy tablets instead but remember to check there's guidelines for ppm/ltr, I'd be curious about the cost of a chlorine test meter I don't expect they'd be cheap?
Yeah they ain't cheap to be fair mate, I found one online here for like £700 lol :bigjoint: https://www.coleparmer.co.uk/i/hach-dr-300-chlorine-and-ph-pocket-colorimeter/9957382?PubID=UY&persist=true&ip=no
