Wouldn't you need to be in complete control of the environment for it to work ? I don't run a controller that messes with fan speed and extraction according to temps and humidity without it it's hard to keep track of it and youve gta be pretty precise I think ?
I got everything thing dialed in and controls just started looking into vpd and if it’s beneficial

I have controls and have spot on rh and temp so would it be beneficial if no then I always run it’s 60rh veg 50 mid flower then 45 late flower I never had problems but if I followed a vpd chart will I yield more

You could improve your growth rate which could improve yield if all else is perfect.

I don't chase perfection if it cost too much to do so.

If you've got the tools to do it then you might as well .

Its like growing with co2 enrichment in the respect yes if everythings perfect you will see better growth and yield but many sack it as its a pain in the arse and takes stuff to monitor everything with vpd in the same way many sack co2 enrichment cos its too fast for them to keep up with it to me if the plants are looking happy and healthy and your improving each run thats good enough in my book

Sweet thanks just wasn’t too sure about it but I think I’m gunna leave that for later down the line
Aye Best off mate focus on the qaulity the rest will come as you know you yourself you proly rather 20 oz of killer weed than 30 0z of stuff thats just ok if your improving every grow a bit then your definitely on right track bro in future when you more money more experience then you can play about with things and make it harder for yourself and fine tune lol the main skill to learn is reading plants my advice be around them all you can be cos they tell me what i need to know i literally only keep an eye on rh and temps and the plants i dont use any other monitoring equipment or that bud

I don't check on humidity too often these days, tbh it's only a source of concern, I'm already doing the best I can between heat and humidity so why even look.

My concern is totally unwarranted as I've not had rot in years even with constant 65/72% rh but 55/60% is so fkg deeply ingrained in my head lol.

The plants go through a increase then decrease in transpiration through the grow so that's a bonus I'm happy with, around peak flower is the highest rh% and thats the time you need to be careful at lights out, the quick drop in temperature can make dew form on the buds and standing water is a absolute nono.

anyone start an early plant or two to grow big during the season? im just putting in some skunk and northan lights, one of each as an experiment, chances of getting anything from it thats strong, is debateable, but we might have an indian summer.

anyone grown skunk outdoors? if so, what results did you get?

these are sensi seeds, im getting some jack herrer on the go, not sure if it will survive the humidity without rot, but im going to try anyway. i recently gave up drinking, well reduced it, so £170 for a pack of seeds is my treat

It's that time of year again, I've been getting some odds and ends for the season, bargain hunting time, there's a few worth sharing I thought.

Coco from ebay 75ltr £15
It doesn't hold as much water volume as canna which imo makes it brilliant for seeds and clones in particular.

Hydrogen peroxide, outside of hydroponic circles it's a sight cheaper, £14 for 5ltr 12% delivered compared to £10 per litre 12% from growth technology.
I bought a liter of growth technology H202 a while back and discovered its shrunk from 17.5% peroxide to 11.95% peroxide, robbing bstds.

Calmag i don't need for growing but i do need it for buffering coco.
1ltr of canna calmag cost me £11/12, its roughly a 3‐1 ratio 2.5% magnesium and 8% calcium.

Hydrocrop dry powder calmag £14 for 6ltr, the 6ltr is roughly 3-1 ratio again only it's 6% magnesium and 18% calcium so that's roughly 3x more concentrated?

Take it easy folk's

Ideally semis and autos for the uk unless south of England but even then it depends cos all sorts of micro climates in the uk good and bad then again we do have odd good year once in a blue moon so you can only hope

wales, so i don't hold out much hope lol
So you guerilla style or you got a secluded garden cos if you do a poly tunnel would be a great help im sure you guys get alot of rain same as Scotland

got 5 polly tunnels and 7 1/2 acres of land. nearest neighbour is 3/4 mile away, so i m extreamly lucky. im planning my own tunnel this year, got £2,000 set aside for it. but wanted to start one off early indoors, then plant it out, just wondered if anyone else has tried one just to see.
were in a valley, so we have our own little micro climate

i had great sucsess with the hindu kush too, all bar one plant, it started getting yellow leaves all over the plant, top , sides and nothing at the base, still came out well

Sounds like you got a little patch of perfect on the mountain side .... I'd love some land away from everyone to do as I please
