They're not brown anyway thank fuck .... I had clear roots before off a cut and it was from a reveg and it's the same this run strange that ain't it
Mind you the only time i noticed it was with canna soil and nutes since i gone all organic i havent noticed it the roots love all that stuff and always seem to be proper nice and white idk if that has anything to do with it just an observation bud

I googled bubbas gift for feedback and yeah it appears highly rated among the growers.

Has anyone ordered from America before?
I was thinking about ordering blueberry seeds but $30 postage seems rather excessive?
it is a nice smoke, growing it now tbf along with a few others, quick times but likes it cold if you want to see them purple colors also this plant likes it room very bushy

Hey folk's, check out this blueberry, its starting to really put on weight.

This was taken 4/5 days ago, there's a visible difference in it now but I've no recent pics.

there's still some nice buds, the picture is deceiving it's actually a chunky plant.

I'll get around to that bubbas gift at some point it sounds promising enough.

Long story short, I vegged them on 12-12 then like a dumb ass increased the hrs to 13.15hrs when I put them to flower.
But every cloud has a silver lining, I've learned stuff I wouldn't have ordinarily ;-)
Tbh it wouldn't have been my 1st choice lol but that's life.

About 2/3 weeks ago I could see something wasn't right, it wouldn't commit to flowering, it was always about to but never did.

Then a 2nd plant fk up, hmm?
I checked over everything and found the timer was out by 1.15hr

After watching that YouTube video i decided 13/11 wasn't such a good idea, I'm absolutely pissed at myself for over looking the timer settings.
(It did answer a leading question though)

It'll soon be out of the way and I can turn a new page!

Eta...This afternoon

lesson learned mate, but also info gleaned.

After watching that YouTube video I wondered if it would be feasible to start @10/11hrs then increase the hours to 11/12 after stretch to benefit frim shorter plants and more growing hrs.

I wouldn't have actually tried it but I did wonder about it.
Now I know at least some plants would be okay with it and some less so.

Also, I've clones and seeds growing atm, only the seeds were affected, the clones are little more stretched but nothing concerning, I'm fairly sure with clones it could flipped to 10/11 then increased to 11/12 after stretch.

It's surprising what can be learned from a mistake

Cheers mate

:weed:

Something else I was able to try, multiple grafts to a donor root stock.

My main concern was the root ball didn't have foliage to keep it transpiring, my concerns were well founded it did wilt away.

How are you guys coping with all these power cuts? Might just be local but it’s been a nightmare since storm isha. Anything over 40mph and power goes. Good thing I’m growing autos atm.

Wondering if it takes much to disturb the cycle of a photoperiod? Debating doing a run next winter but if the power keeps going off during the day cycle will they hermie?

Not had any in years mate' knock on wood.
What sort of periods is it off?

I wouldn't be too concerned with the odd hour here and there but random prolonged periods maybe different, it would depend on the frequency?

Lucky! Can be off day/night for a few hrs. Funny enough today got a message about them fixing a power line so was off today again.

Based near Peebles.

Just wasn’t sure just how sensitive they were (obviously strains vary).

Keen to do a photo run as it’s been years since my last!
