He will go down in history as a President that accomplished more for the common man, in spite of the all obstacles left for him to overcome, such as his race and the legacy of his predecessor, and all the ones placed in his way once in office by his opponents, since any President since FDR with Social Security and Johnson with the Civil Right Act of 1964. It's fitting that the landmark Affordable Healthcare Act will always be known as Obamacare, as that probably was his crowning achievement. (and it will forever drive Republicans nuts when they hear it spoken. Very nice indeed)

because health care costs are inevitable. and when you inevitably have some health care costs that you can't afford, people like me and londonfog will have to pick up the tab for your uninsured ass.

the penalty is simply an actuarial hedge against dumbasses like you who think they are invincible.

but then again, i already have the pleasure of paying for your socialized healthcare. thanks again for your invaluable service in a pointless conflict of choice which in no way made us any freer.

Your wife name is Lynice. Very unusually name. Is she really over weight ? Do you realize this can contribute to some serious health issues. If you love your wife, I would suggest you find ways to help her lose weight. Are you afraid of her ?
I really expected better from you London.

Your post relies upon a default fallacy, it presumes that which presently exists, an unfree market and management by forcible government is the best policy.

It insists that the present authoritarian paradigm is correct and that only tweeks within that paradigm are "solutions" when they are in actuality just polishing of the turd.

Your "solutions" are not solutions they do not strike root causes and end up creating unintended consequences.

Your indoctrination runs deep, very deep.

I didn't like everything this man did, but he did a pretty good job on the whole. He will be missed when he leaves office.

Guess he never got around to "bringing the troops home" or ending the war on drugs?

How's that transparency thing going that he promised?

Can you say TSA, NSA, FBI, CIA, DEA, etc. ?

Can you say "we tortured some folks" ?

His shining erm "accomplishment" was the reduction of freedom of choice by forcing people to buy something or be fined. He thinks he has superior rights over other people and is an egotistical ass.

Sure of course President Obama is not loved by all but he did improve the lives of many, his Herculean accomplishment cannot be denied.

More than 18 million people who never had health care coverage now do, if you have a pre-existing condition you're covered, you don't have to worry about going bankrupt if you get sick, the Fair Credit Act where credit card companies abused the shit out of people, if you had 4 credit cards and missed a payment to 1 card company they ALL raised your APR, happened to my Son...that was Universal Credit or some shit like that, unemployment be low 5% (4.9) with 74 straight months of job growth (private sector) because you know Government doesn't create jobs.

Let's face it, if Obama were Republican, Reagan would be a footnote in Republican history.

just shut up. no one wants a lecture about the magical properties of libertarian fairy dust, and how if we just close our eyes and believe real hard, all of our wildest free market ejaculations will turn into golden showers.

all i have to do to know what works is look at nations with better results for less money. and it turns out they all have much heavier government involvement and regulation in their health care markets than we do.

go pedo elsewhere.
