Hey Dan, can you do us a favor and post some pics of how your closet it setup? Fans on the back / etc? Thanks man! and awesome grow!

No new pics been almost a month? I wanted to see last day in cab.I like the super closet idea I think I'm going to order the superponics equipment maybe their lights also. I have a cab that's almost as big as the trinity mines 50 cubic feet (if my maths right) I want to know what u think of the superponics performance and simplicity Don't let these haters get to u

Like u stealth is my biggest concern not money. I really want to copy and improve upon supercloset's idea. do u like the intake/exhaust set up? Where's the intake port located? Wheres it enter the cab? Is there a carbon filter on both?

Morning Hippie Farmer!
The SuperPonics system is pretty damn sweet. The concept is simple and works great. Oxygen bubbles are constantly popping on the roots and i can set the top feed for whatever intervals i want.
the flexible tubing needs to be wiped every few days which is a bit annoying once the plants get really big....it would be amazing if the lid propped up on its own.
...but beyond that, all i do is change my water and add nutes every two weeks....hydroponics made unintimidating and easy.

unless you have a lot of tools, i think it may be really hard to construct the cabinet. there are a lot of odd sized drilled holes, tons of small attached pieces and rivets, and it looks like welding as well.

the cords run out of the unit through an elbow pipe, which i guess serves as the intake as well...no filter on this, but i guess if the exhaust, which is flush with the back of the cabinet and attached to the odor sock, is pulling air out, then it has to only come in through those holes.....no smells though...until I open the doors!!!

Using personal money to purchase a product that stimulates the economy and gives you great, low maintenance cannabis...what's wrong with you ;)

My family recycles anything w/ copper in it and a frige comes through from time to time and I kept the last one I saw. Bet it looks better with pot in than food in it. I only hope the superponics equip. works out good I have very limited space and I'm plannin on a sog or scrog my flower side is only 5ft x 2ft x 2.5ft. B4 anythings in there with the superponics 16 plant in there it'll be only 4ft tall. I'm goin to mount the lights above the grow area by cutting a hole in the roof of the inside and placeing the lights where the condenser was.

Hey Andrew. Thanks for the good vibes. There is definitely a LOT of hating going on. Fact of the matter is, making my own medicine has already saved me money from time of purchase......no leg work, no headaches.....i don't think the 600 would cause any issues. the 400 was spot on for me.....ran around 73 - 75 degrees. i'll bet that a 600 would give you the perfect 78. once you are up and running, send pics...i want to see what you can do. GOOD LUCK!!!

Dan, may I ask what your final yield was?

I am in the same position as you when it comes to space and stealth... and I am very much inexperienced. I have been thinking about purchasing the SuperLocker as this seems like a fairly simplistic grow system that won't require too much of my time. I too have been told that I would be much better off building my own setup. Although this may be ideal in the sense that I would acquire much knowledge and save money, I simply don't have the time to do all the research/construction. Given your per grow yield, you think the SuperLocker would be a good investment?

Thanks man.

my overall yield was 3/4 of a pound and i think i could have done much better than that had i known then what i know now. i am a big fan of my closet. the maintenance is next to nothing and i got great results without really knowing what i was doing. i guess the upfront cost was a bit more than having a tent and blah blah blah, but i get to grow now and have had no headaches....the hobby has proven to be so much fun....i love watching the plants develop....you would be shocked at how fast they grow. the first thing i do every morning is open the doors and smell the freshness.....i love it. i have learned a lot over the last few months without even realizing it....the folks on this forum...while maybe a little standoffish at first...ahem...totally came around and really helped me with my grow....these guys and gals are a wealth of easy to digest information (thank you by the way). i say go for it...you can tap me for advice any time you like.

Hey, thanks a lot.. much appreciated. I have a couple more questions if you don't mind. Would you recommend moving in the direction of purchasing the CO2 as well? Is the fan fairly quiet? Bout how long did delivery take?

Thanks again, hope to be growing soon.

glad to see how it worked out for you. as i am sure you are aware you obviously paid way too much for the equipment that you got, but if you are happy with your money spent, thats all that matters. personally i would have used most of that money to get a bigger apartment and pieces everything together myself. atleast you are keeping others employed with your purchase. you basically gave away any profits or money you would have saved by growing. not very smart or economical.
