The Revival

So I'm a first time grower and Ive been working on getting everything set up first before i made the move to start my grow. But before I was even able to start germinating my own seeds my friend had to get rid of his plant, so now I have it :hump: . The problem is this kid sucks and was treating his plant like shit.

Some of the new leaves have yellow spots covering them and the leaves feel dry. It looks under watered and looks like he hasnt been feeding it at all. How would I go about bringing this baby back to life. Any help would be appreciated, i dont know shit.

There's nothing to worry about, those spots just indicate a mild nute burn that seems to have not lasted too long, and that fixed itself. If the problem advances, postsome new pics and we'll see what else it might be.

Some strains have leaves with a rinkly texture (Super Silver Haze, Neville's Haze etc - mostly sativas), it's normal. However, if you feel that they become overly rinkly and even a bit rough and dry, it's because of excess heat.

Oh ok that sounds good. I guess i was expecting the worse. How often and how much water would a plant that size need? I'm also thinking about growing for at least 3 /4 more weeks before it put it to flower.

Here's a useful method: Water so that 20% of the added water accumulates in the dish under the pot. Stick your finger in the soil 1-2 inches and check if the soil is dry. If it is, water, if it's not, don't. Weed doesn't enjoy contant moisture.

Also, I wouldn't let it veg for more than 2 weeks from now. It looks like a hybrid (fat leaves, but large internodes). Always remember plants at least double their size during flowering. Some sativas even quadruple. This plant won't grow more than 3 times its size, but it's berst to know you have the space needed for that height.
