The Redneck Pipe Showdow.....

So I smoked a bowl this morning and got to thinking, that I have seen a few different threads on redneck pipes, such as apples, water bottles.


I will be smoking outta all these pieces today to determine two things...

Which piece gets you the highest with the least amount of bud and....

What piece is the easiest/cheapest to make?

This first design on the classic bottle bong....

How to make:::

The blue stuff is water. You cut a small hole out of the bottle and slide a straw in. you then use foil as the hitter piece. I like to use my bong hitter piece when i tested this, I have no idea if this would affect the high. You then seal the hitter piece to the bottle with tape and poke a carb hole in the side.

Testing/Results:::

Overall this piece is a nice smoke... I have had no problems with this and its a nice smooth smoke due to the water cooling. Hard for total noobs to do though. It gets me fairly high with very little weed. But once again its a little harder to make and it requires more time and materials. My overall rating on this piece would be a high 9. The only thing holding it back from a 10 is the fact it takes longer to make/harder to make.

The next piece I tested after all the family stuff was complete this morning was my ole time school hood favorite, the foil bong made with a pen.




How To make:::

You simply take tin foil, roll it up in a pen, and bend it upwards at an angle. Very easy to make and who doesn't have foil?

Testing/Results:::

The basic thing about smoking out of foil is that it totally blows. What happens is the foil gets really hot, it pinches in the next, tastes horrible, and just really sucks. You don't even get high out of it unless its like your first time ever smoking. The only thing holding this shit load back from a 1 is the fact that it is so easy to make. I give it a weakass 2.

After not getting high off the shitty lame foil bowl, I decided on my next home brew piece. I opted for the home made steamroller.




How it works:::

Basically you just take an empty toilet paper core and cut a hole in the top... Make a foil bowl poking some holes in it with a needle, and sit it on top the hole. The rest is self explanatory.

Testing/Results:::

I would recommend this if you want to get high on a very small amount of bud... Like a little less then a tiny bowl, but not quite half... It hits nice and the smoke isn't to hot at all. I git this setup a strong 7, because it is kind of hard to find and empty toilet paper roll.

Get a water bottle, cut a hole in the side and put a foil bowl where the cap would be, hold it upright and smoke

The last Home brew Piece I tried today was the soda can..


How to make it:::

You simply do this by bending a soda can at the middle after emptying it. You then poked holes in the top. You also poke a few holes in the side as a carb. Lastly you break the tab off. The bud goes on top of the holes and you burn as needed..

Testing/Results:::

This method every time uses almost no bud. Seriously like 0.05 grams of it and that gets you high. Although I have no idea if the real reason you get that high off that little bud is because of the fact that you are inhaling fumes from the paint on the side of the can that could be potentially hazardous. But It really does get you hella high with the lest amount of bud by far... I give this an 8. because its extreamly easy to make, gets you the highest with the least bud, and the parts are very common.

Overall Thoughts:::

In the extreamliy horrible situation that you do not have a glass piece or some kind of wrap and you have to make one of these I would go with the Water Bong. It is a little harder to make but offers what I feel is the cleanest and best smoke to high ratio. I would in extreme situations smoke out of a coke can if my weed were really low and going to be out for a really longs time ha.

So basically If you have to smoke the shitty hick way..

Water Bong for times when you have good amount of bud and no piece of wraps.

Coke can for if you have to make the last pound of super weed on earth last you the rest of your life.

But I think alot of us always keep the close by.

I've seen people smoke crack out of cans, and foil with the wire mesh and stuff. I only smoke weed though. I would not recomend using any of those methods.

What if SHE starts caughing FIRST??? Should you make 'er deep throat, and finish yer hit? but then the lighter would get too close to my nose hair forrest...and we dont want any forrest fires!

Its not home made, but one of my bongs is cracked all over and resealed with silicone, there isn't a spot on it that isn't covered with it. lol

all very valid concerns that i appreciate...

Another redneck smoke to add- we call it a waterfall, dunno if others call it by any other silly name, but basically-

-take a water bottle
-burn a hole (small enough to be covered by your finger later) in the side of the bottle right near the bottom
-burn/cut a hole in the cap, and put a tin foil bowl (or whatever else you prefer) in it
-break up the herb n fill the bowl
-take the cap/bowl (with the weed in it) and set it aside
-cover the hole in the bottom with your finger and fill up the bottle with water
-put the cap back on, light the herb, let go of the hole in the bottom of the bottle while holding the bottle upright. (do it over a sink or something so water doesn't spill everywhere obviously)
-let the water drain out, which should fill the bottle with smoke nice n thick
-take the cap off, let go of the hole, and clear the bottle.
-you be high

This usually gets you really high with a relatively small amount, but clearing the whole bottle can leave some with a heckuva coughing fit. Try it out n rate it if you want Live

I prefer using the hollowed bones of deceased humans.

Apples are my personal favorite. get the stem out, use the pen, etc. if you need it explained i can, but otherwise, i just like it cause there's no foil, all natural, and all you gotta do is take a walk...you're bound to find an apple tree around in the neighborhood somewhere.
