The Purpose of Money

it always annoys me when a liberal quotes money is the root of all evil...
when it is obvious they are distorting the bible for their own political gain.
not only is it wrong.but it is a sin and breaking three of the ten commandments at one time.
money is gold and real wealth. it is traded for other things mainly another mans time or product and productions.
taxs are a way government steals your time and production from you.
currency is issued as debt and represent future production/time.
when the government runs your ass into debt it means they are stealing your future..the future of your family and your future time and production.

Money is the root of all Evil
But man is the root of all Money
Thus Man is the root of All Evil
when trying to control other men.

food is the root of all evil. if you control the food, you control everybody. likewise for water if it weren't everywhere for free. since man is made of food and water, man is the root of all evil.

I believe the saying was: "The love of money is the root of all evil". I believe that covers most of you greedy pricks. If this offends you, then you must be a greedy prick.

I don't wish to say what the true purpose of money is because I don't believe I am informed on its political and historical background. However, I am looking forward to the day that it will nonexistent. That day will be no more than 100 years from now. Nanotechology is increasing at such a rapid rate that we will soon be able to build fully functional fabricators. A fabricator is a machine that literally pieces together individual atoms. Once this is possible, anyone could literally create anything they wanted. No need to worry about having to buy anything anymore. I know what some of you are thinking though, "couldn't someone build a bomb and kill everyone?" or something like that. No, there will be built in software limitations in the fabricators. It won't allow for destructive things and such. I doubt the government would be able to control fabricators from reaching the masses. There would be a huge revolt. These fabricators will eventually end world hunger.

As I'll freely admit to being greedy
and your statement doesn't offend me
does that mean that I'm not actually greedy?

Do you freely admit to trying to decieve us into buying into your twisted views by deleting the first three words in "The love of money is the root of all evil" statement? :spew:

This planet has - or rather had - a problem, which was this: most of the people living on it were unhappy for pretty much of the time. Many solutions were suggested for this problem, but most of these were largely concerned with the movements of small green pieces of paper, which is odd because on the whole it wasn't the small green pieces of paper that were unhappy. ~Douglas Adams

Ordinary riches can be stolen; real riches cannot. In your soul are infinitely precious things that cannot be taken from you. ~Oscar Wilde

Only when the last tree has died and the last river been poisoned and the last fish been caught will we realise we cannot eat money. ~Cree Indian Proverb

What makes me happy is my business

what makes you happy is your business

Just because my happiness derives from different things than your happiness doesn't justify you trying to make me miserable, or taxing the things that make me happy, like

Cigarettes
Alcohol
Gambling
Investing
Savings
Large Houses
Expensive Cars
etc.

Actually I quit smoking, and I don't Gamble, but this isn't really about me, and I don't see the point in having a house larger than what you need, or a car so expensive that you can't afford collision and comprehensive coverage on it, but I also don't think it makes sense to tax those things more, as consumption is the other side of the coin of production. Having lots of jobs is pointless if no one is buying the shit that is being produced.

So taxing the rich, who would buy large houses and thus provide more jobs doesn't make sense.

If happiness is truly the goal then why punish people that define happiness in different ways?

Wouldn't it be better to punish those that want to interfere in the happiness of others, like the government, the police, and the military?

I mean, government is essentially an armed gang that commits robbery that everyone permits because it's "government."

By that logic if I had a gang of criminals would it be okay for us to steal as long as we said we were "the government"?

Desire means Demand
Demand demands Supply
Supply means Jobs
Jobs means Work
Work means getting Paid
Paid means having the ability to turn your Desire into quantifiable Demand
and so on and so forth.
