The only good thing about being gone out of state for an emergency and not being able to take care of your plant for over 2 weeks, is it drying out completely making the trim job super simple. Obviously not my best but, it is what it is. Here's what's left of my Road Kill Unicorn given I'm not DQ'ed due to absence.

Weight: 7.9g

Alright she was all done so I took her down 2 nights ago. It was such an easy plant to grow. I decided early on to just let it grow up naturally. Kept everything super simple the whole time. Good soil, a shot of nutrients here and there, air, and light. Nothing too fancy (where my umph fans). Has a nice sweet smell. Looks like a sativa dominant strain for sure. Probably somewhere around 7 grams. I left a couple buds on the stalk and threw it back in veg. I want to re-veg it just as a test because I'm going to be popping a lots of beans soon and re-vegging any keepers will be necessary to stay within my plant count. I figured I would give it a practice shot if that's what you want to call it. So yeah 2 small nugs won't go into the weight.

Here it is right before I chopped it.

So there it is. I'll be back with a report on weight. It should be a whopper lol.

Revegging takes some time, but it worked well for me on my last run, I chopped one down then threw the root ball with a tiny bud on it right back into my 18/6 room and started veg feed at 1/4 strength going to full runoff right away(already has plenty of roots established) give her hell:peace: took about a month to come back to being able to take cuts, but man when it threw branches it threw em! Tons of new growth when they decide to grow again

I took clones two weeks into bloom and was wondering how long it takes to reveg from that. Its already been a month any ideas why its not producing normal fan leafs...

Never done that one myself, I only revegged a plant with root ball already in place, my guess would be it takes longer to grow root and revert hormones at the same time?

almost all my cuts come from flowering plants, helps keep my numbers lower.it works awesome from week 3 back.once they start getting frosty it gets harder or i should say takes longer to root.you wanna see em root fast, take a cut from flower on day 7.then leave the cut in the flower room till day 15 or 16 then take it back to veg room.i do this in peat based soil all the time and by the time they been back in veg a week they are ready to be topped sometimes.but some strains clone better than others.i have one i been growing almost 6 years now and bitch takes a month to root almost always.once in a while i get lucky and she will taqke off after a few weeks but i can never put my finger on what made her go quicker lol

i actually did this once when i thought i was going to lose a strain. the plant was about 4 weeks into flower. it took a solid 6 weeks before i saw any signs of roots. When plants reveg they can do all sorts of weird things...single bladed fan leaves are very common if that is what you're asking about. It should eventually go back to normal.

good to hear man. i got the idea after i started following vader on youtube. its how he keeps all his winners.
reveg will go quicker with longer light periods like 20/4 or even 24/0 and also if you give em a heavy dose of calmag on the first day and make sure to have plenty of runoff it will help reset those roots, helps loosen salt buildup in the pot and gets those veg nutes the upper hand .
good to know man thanks for the tip

that's an interesting way to do it. never heard of anyone purposely taking clones like that on the reggie but it sorta makes since. My plants are the most vigorous vegetatively right around weeks 2 and 3 of flower so it makes since that they would root well at this time. I only worry about a problem arising and losing all the cuts before they root....which would then leave me to reveg the flowering plant after harvest i guess.

usually when i take anything past day 7 of 1212 they end up reversing and shooting out a dozen veg shoots but they take a while
