Aight just a quickie question, im doing the molasses thang, but ive heard different opinions, i bought some 100% natural molasses with no preservatives, i water with 6 litres and added 3 tbsp ! is this a good amount ? i always water with 6 litres by the way, also how often should i use it? and for those of you who dont know the metric system that equals to about 1.5 gallons of water

How does molasses compare to Advanced Carbo Load??Would it be alright to flush with just molasses.I would think it would almost be better than just plain water??

hey i never flushed with anything other then just plain water, but i read in another forum about mixing in molasses and something else called "sweets" (which im not sure what it is). i looked for the topic on this forum but this was the closest thread i could find, any info on flushing using these things would be greatly appeciated, also i have outdoors and a lot of ants around my house, so exactly how bad is the pest problem?

I just read a HUGE post about molasses its in the organic forum. Advanced carbo load is nothing but molasses. I've never bought it/used it but this guy seems to know his shit.

I mix with nutes. and the the next is superthrive and water then the next is plain water. And start over again. That's just the way I do it.

you use SuperThrive throughout the grow? I've read around a few threads and seen peoples plants completely warped from using it often/too much in one dose. Do you low dose with the Superthrive? I would only use it during transplant, or right after.. but that's just me. you use it every other watering?!

I use about 10 drops per gal. I've used this stuff in evey potted plant I've ever grown and have never seen ill effects from it. I use every 3ed watering sometimes more same with the nutes if they look good I might use only water for 2-3 waterings. Then go back to the feedings.

i use it outside.. only diff is i might see an ant or two wondering around my soil.. no prob tho.. but if u have a super concentrated solution u will attract more things

Just make sure you keep it away from ants nest...they love that shit been there had ant swarm...big peice of plywood underneith fixes that if limited on outdoor use

Agave Nectar also works very well and will work in combination with Molasses. Agave Nectar contains carbohydrates that your plants can use as well as Iron, Calcium, Potassium, and Magnesium.
