yes...but do you feel a little paranoid bout buying large bags of soil in winter ?...i feel like every ones looking at me thinking " oh look at that twat...geting his soil to grow some weed "!!!)..mabe if i didnt go stoned it would help ..

get some perlite and mix 50-50 ish.

Yeah btw. If this thread gets going im sure many more people will say this. But how annoying is it when u ask a question and someone talks about WALMART OR LOWES OR HOME DEPOT. Im like fuck off arggg we are pretty dis-advantaged here in the Uk. So good suggestions like soils and stuff from british stores is all good thanks man.

ph (6.3-7.2).

iv had my grow going for 7days now its my 1st time and im loving it. i started with10 cheese cuttings iv lost 1 so far but iv soon replaced that. im using a 2 and half meter by 1 and half meter tent/bud box.. with 2 600hps lights my cuttings are in 10ltr pots and iv used bio soil all mix and using bio grow and bio bloom and topmax nutrients.. it only been 7days and already i can see the difference in the plants... im in the process of setting up another grow but this time im planning on using feminised seeds iv read up as much as i can about how to do this and i cant wait for it to happen lol... has any1 got any good suggestions or helpfull hints to help me out with both of my grows..... cheers.....

I'm glad to see that I can actually buy the right compost from B & Q 10 miles away, rather than having to fly to an American superstore for it. Think i'm going to use the J.Arthur Bowers when I can finally start growing.

i know this is off soil. BUt does anyone know where to get Litmus paper to test the ph of soil? Because i heard that soil testers like the one in homebase arent very good and for smlall grows u might as well use litmus paper. If anyone knows then would be helpful cheers.
edit: czo right now im growing without having a clue about ph and when i start to flower am planning on addind newts and dont really want to shit myself or have em die on me.
