Ok Damnit, I'll bite. I joined twitter how the heck do I follow attitude???????????????????????

Never mind I think I got it.. I can NOT believe I joined Twitter!!!!!!! The things a person will do for free seeds...

Kimi
Thats exactly how I felt.

Your plants look great. I think yours are a little wider. I have been having some heat issues in my veg cab so they are not growing as quickly as they would normally. The temps have been sitting at like 86-90 degrees. The pots are all touching each other, so the plants won't grow too wide right now. But in a week or so when I top, I'm sure they will bush right out. We may also have different phenos of the same strains. Especially since every one is working with just one of each seed.

SAME HERE!! My Rocklock is just over 2 inches and is growing her 4th or 5th set of leaves, they are so close I cant tell for sure! My other grows were reaaaaaaaally stretched so they were like 2 feet tall with 6/7 nodes total when they hermied! They looked really good but really sparse too LoL.
My Rocklock is also the smallest of the four im growing !!

OK so I have germed all of the QT freebies except for the Chronic so far. All have popped except the Rocklock (60 hours so far) and the only 1 I have had a problem with so far is the one I wanted the most. Sensi-Star. Left her alone for a couple days and she became shell bound and died. I am excited about my 3 plant scrog containing a White Widow (GHS), a Motivation and a Warlock (both Magus) is going great. I set the screen at 8" and the plants should hit the screen real soon. The Motivation is on a mission. Unbelievably vigorous growth. If it smokes good it will definately be my favorite strain.

Its been an odd day or two.

Rocky is still being a super sensitive girl.. Anyone else growing Rocklock and noticing this??? She is in the exact same consitions as the other 3 and has some sort of stress every other day. I gave her a half flush and have decided to let her go and see if she toughens up. U will know Rockys pix by the obvious signs of stress.

Sensi Star, who will now be named Serena is one tough little cookie! She is putting on new growth finally, I think she is totally recovered from her miserable birth. She is in the blue bucket.

Charlie & Stella are doing Marvellously! We have taken all 4 girls outside for 2-3 hours a day, not to get them used to it, just because it really seems like they LOVE it. Charlie literally doubled in size in 24 hours the first day we put them out..

I think I am going to play a little with the girls.
~~Charlie will be LSTd
~~Serena will be topped, maybe even super topped
~~Stella will be scrogged (if I get this figured out)

Enjoy the pics!!

I just germed 10 diff stains and all popped but the sensi so far. All the others were put in rockwool cubes but none have broke the surface yet. Im gonna give the sensi a little while longer to see if it does anything.

Keep'em comin. =) ughhh. wish i could update my plants on here too. lol. well... b4 u kno it. i'll be startin sum of the freebies.. and ill be able to update on my own thread. hahaha. seems like rocklock is a pretty popular plant on here ass well.. kinda weird... sour kush has most of the votes... yet.. not too many ppl r growing it.

I wonder if i had added rocklock to the poll... if it would have gotten more votes than sour kush??

For me, being brand new to all things cannabis I noticed that everything locally (other than what I have heard my brother and son discuss) had a tag of either "dro" or "kush"and sells for basically the same price as mid grade. WHen I started askin questions I found that neither my son nor my brother really understood the difference. Decent weed was called "Dro" whether grown in dirt or Hydro.
Anyway to make a long story short, when I shared my first crop with the 5 or 6 people I know that smoke I did not want to present them with anything that could be considered the same old stuff. This is why I did not grow Sour Kush or, the one I really want to grow.. Kings Kush.

Make Sense? It does in my crazy brain LoL

I had a fungus gnat invassion that killed my sour cream and pineapple express...friggin bastids.

I think the whole name game is a little silly sometimes. The naming of strains is absolutely neccessary so you know what's what, but I think it is irrelevent sometimes. On top of it, you have pretty much every breeder out their with their own version of popular strains like NL and WW. Around here, I've never even heard of a dealer or someone marketing their bud as "Northern Lights" or "White Widow" or whatever. Must just be a local thing. Either you are buying seeded "shwag" for around $25-30 an 1/8 or seedless "kind bud" for $50-60 an 1/8. They are the only distinctions I've ever seen. It's sort of funny when I see people talking on here about not wanting to grow somethign because they don't like the name. I guess it kind of makes sense though. People like cool sounding strain names. If it was called "Gives you Herpes" I don't know if I'd want to grow it, lol. But who knows, "Gives you Herpes" might be the dankest stuff out there, haha.

Thanks, Kimi.

Not sure where they came from but they attacked those seedlings like they were kentucky fried chicken....I got new soil and saved the Kings Kush before it was attacked.
Oh well, live and learn...I have another sour cream seed so not a big deal.

well kimi dro is jus slang for some people for weed just like where im from we call it kill or fire or death. youll find that most people dont have knowlege of strains or growing methods.

Be VERY VERY careful taking plants indoors and out. They will get bugs or eggs of bugs you don't even see. Then you bring them inside and they hatch and multiply and then you are screwed. I would just keep them inside.

Dude, I am so crazy Paranoid about bad things happening to my girls after last grow when I had thripes that I have diatomaceous earth on my soil to avoid this from happening. The girls love the sun soooo much and I am a CFL grower currently so I think I am going to continue to take the chance for now. Lord knows I will be sooooo pissed at myself if I do get bugs tho!

+ Rep for the good advice though, even if I am ignoring it for now...

CFL's work just fine for veg. And the diatomaceous earth will help with bugs that crawl on the soil, but there are many bugs that hang around on the stem and leaves. Usually on the bottom side of leaves where you can't see them. Bugs can cause so much damage that you can't even salvage a harvest. You could already have eggs on your leaves and not even know it. I would really suggest not taking them outside any more. Just about every single person I have seen do this ends up with spider mites or something. My opinion is better safe than sorry.
