I veg hard and my plant's finish 12/12 at 4-5 feet tall with a harvest of 4-7.5 oz per. But dam they drink up the nutes on a daily basis. I would like to get them to stay under 4' and harvest at least 4 oz per. To me having 4 large per 600hps is better than 8 small under the same light.

What would you try for under a 400 watter with about 3x3x6 to work with? Any strain you'd recommend Golden? I'm going to be finished in a few months and would like to get in one more while the weather is cool enough that I don't have to fight with it as much....

Under a 400 I would go with 4 plants and stay away from sativa's. Hmmm LA Con is a great Indica. Very Short and fat,fat. Umm Northern Lights is always a good one. If you are buying new seeds I suggest #18.

I will be picking out seeds very soon, this plant should be done I'm working on now, and then I want to try and use my space to do about 4-5 shorter plans, I'm going to buy regular and germ 10 and hope for about 50/50 male female so I end with about 5 plants. Always wanted to do northern lights.... i'll add that to my list of options... thx

Ya I wish I could plant it outside or in an open room. The quicker I get the grow tent up the better. When should I start to use tiger bloom and big bloom? 1-2 weeks before switching to 12/12? And how much? My Sour OG plant that is 28 in has a run off of 1700ppm and I fed with 1050ppm and not showing much deficiency except for some of the lower small leaves are turning yellow and breaking off easily. The rest of the plant is growing fine and dark green. Should I flush next watering? PH of the run off was 5.9.

Why not buy fem seeds? That's all I buy. Never had any problems.. If you want short, and short flower time, look into the LA Confidential. If you want heavy coated,trich covered, can't see the buds due to crystals everywhere, go with the church.

I'm not ruling out fem'ed seeds, there are a few I'm looking at as well, that might be the way to go since I'm doing such small numbers at a time, you know, just to make sure I don't end up with 2 girls out of 10, i don't want a sausage party in my tent...

LOL. The only down fall to buying only fems (I do) is there is less selection. But there is no lost time, so it's a catch 22.

Hey guys,

I've used fox farm ocean forest in my past three grows and it really is good stuff! I usually get it delivered from htgsupply, but this time I went to the hydro store and grabbed a bag. It came w/ thrips this time :( These little mites are crawlin around the soil, but don't seem to bother w/ the plant much. Good news, already placed an order for fox farms 'dont bug me' and I'm going to spray them down till they go extinct! haha Hope 'dont bug me' handles thrips and doesn't hurt my girls

I am going to use Grow Big for the veg stage. I was just wondering if I should follow the charts which says 2 tsp for the watering after the cotyledons turn yellow, then 3 tsp for the next watering. Do you guys normally start tiger bloom about 1 week into flowering as well? and was curious of the dosage for tiger bloom initially as well. Would you say start most nutes half strength (1 tsp) instead of the recommended 2-3 tsp? Just want to get my measurements set before the girls need nutes. This may be confusing, but basically explain your nute schedule w/ grow big to tiger bloom. Thanks!!

I always go with half the strength of Grow Big as soon as the cotyledon leafs turn yellow, for one week, then bump it up slowly.

Super Silver Haze using the entire fox farm nutrient line and 500w of CFLs. Pretty stoked on fox farm, really good stuff.

What kind of results will i see with fox farm happy frog? When i went to the store to pick some up , but all they had was happy frog. Can some one give me some incite it would be most appreciated. Will i get the same results as ocean forest? Ill be starting my first grow soon and i am wanting to get it done right.

Also do all of you guy use nutrients or can i grow with out them? Ill probably buy CNS17 and big bloom, but if i don't have too i rather not.

here my grow im using ffof and happy frog soil grow big and big bloom nutes 9 cfls i have a 150watt hps but no bulb :( and im at week 5 of veg
