The official fox farms® thread

So is it ok to use the FFOF just straight thru all cycles and transplants. I was told to mix two bags of FFOF with a bale of Pro Mix 3.8 cubic foot. Thanks for any advice

@Abusive

I was gonna say to either get some FF Light Warrior and cut it, or you could use that Pro-Mix it looks like.

Ok, all you Fox Farmers, question for ya: How often and how much do you feed your girls? Don't tell me you feed them when they get hungry, or when they tell you they need it or when the soil gets dry, I want to know the exact size of the container and the number of days that goes by between you pouring either more plain water or more water mixed with nutrients into the pots? Also how much water are you using, with and without nutes?

I tried cutting the schedule in half and seem to be having problems with it, perhaps I'm watering to often to be giving the gal food every other watering, but I want to figure out what I'm doing wrong because many of you seem to be having grand results with the FF lineup. Fill me in on how all you Fox Farmers are doing it? thx

Lot of this depends on strain and root mass. Some strains can take heavy feedings and some can not. Also the larger the root mass the more you need to water or feed. For instance, I have some 4 footers in flowering that require daily watering/feeding. A good veg and a nice fat root mass is key to a heavy harvest.

I'm starting a DNA Genetics 60 Day Wonder grow in a few weeks. I'll be transferring a peat pellet into 5 gallons of ocean forest. Will the Ocean Forest be too strong? If you use Ocean Forest, can Big bloom still be used throughout all grow cycles?It's an autoflower so can I start tiger bloom as soon as flowering starts, normally at 2-2 1/2 weeks? Thanks in advance people

I am in a 5 gallon bucket mixed with 70% FFOF, 20% FFHF, and 10% big and chunky perilite. Growing a Thai Super Skunk, that is 5 weeks into flower and is expected to go another two months...
LAX, you did exactly what I was worried people would do, how often do you water/nute/water/nute??? I get it that it's going to be every other watering that you feed your plants but are you going 2 days or 7 days between watering? Thanks for the feedback, happy bong hits to you sir...

since it's a auto flower and not a regular strain .. the ocean forest will do.. jus water ..some auto's dont respond well to nutes..

I don't know if I need to smoke before I read that but I didn't get much useful data out of it.... are you saying you feed at half the strength the chart tells you too man?

You've been helpful in the past to me Golden, and I thank you for that, I have a 5 gallon pot with a decent root mass in it, (I'll confirm that upon chopping) my plant is about 5 feet tall if not lst'ed including pot height. journal in sig if you wanna diagnose.

I just harvested 4 auto's 2 Double Diesel and 2 Red dwarf ~ I used FFOF and I started veg nutes as soon as 2 weeks from seed, then when I saw a nice set of flowers I switched to Flower nutes. They where not FF products but my point is that the nutes will increase your harvest and potency. I harvested from 49 grams - 77 grams per plant.

Every Time I harvest I have a compulsion to tear into the root mass and give a good look. If you see green roots, well that means air has traveled down the side and roots dis like that. A nice white root mass is good.

Hmm also very nice. I guess I'll just have to see how it goes and feel it out. Glad to see it doesn't necessarily burn autos though. Thanks guys :)
