hello everyone can tell me when u a just your ph some say test the ph after u put a and b then put every thing in there don't test again some say put every thing in and test ph wich way is the right way. Can anyone tell me why .I'm use canna nutrients. Thank you

Test PPM and pH before adding anything.

My procedure:
1. test pH and PPM(water), record.
2. add CaMg+, test PPM, increase does as needed to achieve 100-140ppm, record PPM.
3. add DripClean
4. add other additives (Rhizotonic, Cannazym, Boost, PK13/14, etc, as needed)
5. split nutrient solution in half.
6. add A to one half, add B to the other half.
7. wait 15 minutes.
8. combine both halves into one, test pH and PPM. The addition of A and B are portioned for the full quantity, not the half.
9. pH balance as needed, record pH and PPM.
10. feed plants, you should see 10-20% runoff(in Coco)

The way I understand it, when A and B are not to be mixed directly, they should be diluted into the solution. I've seen/read issues with people not giving the wait time for A and B, and end up with absorption issues.

I add my silica and calmag first (mix in well)... Then add Canna A, stir well and let sit for a few... Then add Canna B... Then add remaining additives... Then adjust the pH and let sit for at least 20 min... Test pH again before using and adjust again if needed.

Some organic products from other companies require you to adjust pH before adding them to the nutrient solution but its not necessary with Canna products.

*Adding Rhizotonic after your calmag may be necessary to avoid nutrient precipitation... I'm not sure if your using Rhizotonic or not but I remember it being a issue for me back when I used it.

I use full line canna plus bud xl and i swish booster to bloombastic(and cal/mag also).But i still can fix it out how to put all together
Can u jberry or someone can help me how to put it together.I try to put their recomment but it mess up my grow.I in 4 week of flower now but it look not very good the leave not look very heathier.I use to feed them about 600-700 ppm (1.0 or 1.2 ec ) all the time.I use tap water should i need to buy a fillter for the water?. Anyone please give me the feeding schedule.( I have sky walker and purple urker )

Subbed. I just found this canna section the other day. Going to pick me up some canna coco this weekend do get started on my scrog. Just germed 5 Hortilab seeds sour amnesia. I'm hoping for at least 2 females out of 5 beans.

i remember you said that you use the pk 13/14 for two weeks at 4ml/gallon. is that right? which two weeks is it again? im running white fire...which i am told is a 56 to 60 day strain. right now i just started week 3 of flower. not sure when to start using the pk. also...i foliar fed once with boost during week two. today i added boost to the res at 8 ml/gallon. would it be ok to continue foliar feeding them with the boost while they are also getting it from the res? and what is the foliar dosage for the boost?

Newb here and I have a couple questions about the watering schedule and nutrients that I am sure have been answered before but I could not find specific answers to.

1) How many times a day and how much water should you give your plant? I have heard 1-3 times a day, but never how much water each one should get.
2) I plan on using Canna A+B, 13/14, probably cal/mag, and whatever anyone else recommends. Should I be giving nutrients every time I water

I plan on growing around 2-3 3ft plants (Main lining) in 5 gallon smart pots w/ a Coco Coir/perlite mixture (75/25)

Hey you all I have read alot about the nutes used in coco can I use fox farms Big Bloom and Tiger bloom in coco for flowering and Fox Farms grow big for vege I bought it all then decided to try coco I am just adding the nutes with a Gal jug not using any pumps or anything yes its wasting my nutes but I have a very small grow going for personal use any comments would help and Thank You great thread

First I would use less what the recommended dosage. Correct me if I'm wrong but they are basing the nutrient dosage on r/o water wich is much less ppm's then the regular tap water ( note each region or area has different ppm ratings). Also I would first start off with keeping the nutes simple. Then after your first grow or two try adding the other additives. I hope that helps.

how much do you guys drop the dosage of a and b when adding pk 13/14? i dropped mine from 10.5 to 10mls but still got a little burn when adding 4 mls of pk 13/14

I do PK13/14 every grow during weeks 4&5 for 3 feedings (3 feedings for me = 9 days.) and drop my base's A&B by 2ml/gal based on Canna's grow charts....it's kinda hot and it took me a couple of grows to tune-in looking at the leaf tips...the first sign of burn.

I fed A+B @ 90% the week I used PK13/14 and have not seen any nute burn. I have not been feeding very aggressive, but 90-95% of Canna's recommendations.

Hello guys-

First just let me tell you I am a mess. My family and I just relocated to Prague in the Czech Republic from NYC. I do not have all of the best of equipment because I am on a tight budget...two little girls too So please forgive me in that I don't have all the right tools and such...fro instance I don't have an ec pen....and I also don't really understand how to use them anyway. The problem is due to a language barrier between me and the Czech growshop owners...I speak very little Czech. ANy advice I can get here is so so so appreciated.

This will be my third grow. I am growing Barneys L.S.D. seeds....five of them. I am starting out with a 250 watt bulb, but will be adding another 250 bulb around week three for a total of 500 watts. I am vegetating in I guess two litter small pots and then transplanting at week 4 bloom stage into 10 liter pots. The medium is Barneys premium coco. Here are the nutes I could afford. COCO A B and Cannazyme. In addition the guy at this awesome new growshop I found today ( whom also speaks great English) gave me a free sample of some generic looking root simulator and bloom simulator. I have a ph kit and ph my water.

So here is my problem. I am really struggling with understanding the feeding schedules. I guess I'm just dumb or something, but the chart the growshop gave to me and the chart I generated on Cannas website just don't make compete sense. For instance, the first column is broken down not into weeks, but phases. Towards the bottom of the column it labeled weeks, it says week 1? Why would week i be down towards the end of the plants life ? The week co;u,n labeling just doesn't make sense to me. I will include the chat generated from their site.

The only good news is I get the dosage and ph parts. I would so so appreciate any advice anyone could give me and thank you guys for making this available. Also, does anyone know where a really dumbed down idiots guide to canna might be floating around.

ALso few other quick questions-
Why are the containers for coco a b shaped they way they are ? Why the duel reservoirs ?

Also, do I use both a and b through out the grow ?

Ans super huge question...do I water every day ? How many times a week ?
