Rhizotonic, PK13/14, Cannazym, any good Cal/Mg supplement throughout the whole grow if using RO water, - Boost if you have a lot of $ \ can afford it... If not House & Garden BudXL & a sweetner of your choice.

Thanks canna man. How important is a ec or ppm metter with coco I have never need one so far with dirt or hydro.
Extremely, and the PH is even more critical. Keep it at 5.8 +/- 0.2

Go out of those ph ranges and some nutrients wont be available anymore

haha i am actually going to be switching over to canna nutes....but someone should be able to identify what the problem is from the pics.....could it be a cal mag issue?

Maybe, are you using a Cal/Mg supplement? If not you probably should be...

I'm not too familiar with all the nutes your using. When running the Canna line you have to use an additional Cal/Mg supplement the whole time from beginning to end. You need more Cal/Mg when using Coco than normal.

Speaking of bloom boosters, I had a bad experience.....I left out the Canna "Boost" on this past grow and went with "Bloombastic". I was at the final 4 weeks of flower running @14ml Canna coco A&B. I added the minimum dose of Bloombastic @2ml/gal and it burnt the leaf tips of both plants (different strains) and I saw a lot of edge curl. I went on to feed them the Bloombastic while dropping to 10ml/g A&B. Still the plants saw stress but I did notice some immediate, huge ass cola production. I wound up with great yields and the the hardest, densest nugs on a littl Indy girl. I can't say that's was the reason but if you use this booster with Canna Coco, beware. It is highly concentrated..... and more expensive than the "Boost". I'll be back in the saddle next grow with the worry-free Canna Boost.

I am using calmag plus from botanicare im not using it every feeding though...should i be? and how much should i use....straight tap water comes out at about 100 ppm but i dont know what is in it....Im going tomorrow to pick up the canna line of nutes. A+B,rhizo,cannazym,pk13/14 any other suggestions?..i have a root innoculate powder..maybe some molasses? or what would be a good product for sugar carbs and micro nutes?? im thinking of using the a+b at 8 ml/g and maybe bump it up to 12 in flower? PK13/14 at 4 ml/g start of week 4 in flower for 2 weeks cannazym at 9ml/g once a week during last 5 weeks of flower..not sure how often to use it in the veg if at all?...i was also thinking of using bud XL and gravity......Anyones input would be appreciated!!! thanks in advance...making the switch from botanicare to canna

NEVER USE GRAVITY!

It has a bunch of paclobuterazol and chlorine cumcuat or some other shit in it proven to cause cancer in lab rats. PROVEN to cause cancer in lab rats. FUCK HUMBOLDT COUNTY'S OWN , the horse they rode in on and all their products!

I'd never add anything proven to cause cancey to my grow, I dont give a fuck how much denser, more yield, potency, or any other factor. Nothing could offset causing cancer for me.

Either get Canna Boost or combine BudXL & Botanicare Sweet.

.... and yes Cal/Mg EVERY watering, 2ml a Gal should be enough if given every watering.

Refer to the Canna website on how to use their products also, you have it all messed up. Their calculator works good, it underestimates how hot their mixed come out, but it works great.

You grab that Gravity anyways Flip??? LOL

It's funny shit that everyone I mention that to just disregards it and literally continues poisoning themselves and everyone else who smokes it, except they are kiling themselves knowingly now and fucking everyone else who isn't informed of the cancer bullshit in the now contaminated meds.

Interesting correlation I've found as well, the people who disregard it tend to smoke Ciggy's as well... Guess lung cancer just isnt a concern for some people? Wtf?

Hey Az, no i didnt pick it up. Where did you get your info about it causing cancer?...JBerry said he was using it earlier on in the thread thats why i mentioned it, they dont sell it at the store.....But if you say that i wont be using it....then again everything causes cancer...You say instead use bud xl by h and g?...do i use that along with the pk13 14...also i havent been able to get 10-15% runoff because im hand watering and it would be wayyyy to much work to go around after and suck up all the extra water with a shop vac ...im a lil stumped on what to do here...ive done a few grows without doing it but i think it is affecting my yield...any suggestions? can i get run off and just leave it sitting in the tray for the plant to suck back up?...im assuming that would be a negative......also thinking about raising the potters up about 2 inches from the trays then they wouldnt be sitting in the runoff and hopefully it will evaporate.....Suggestions?....what do you do cannaman

Hey Flip,
Glad to hear you didnt grab it. Wise choice. Steer clear of that company's entire lineup, like buy nothing of theirs. Read about Gravity, Bushmaster, Flower Dragon, and other PGR's below.

Yeah everything does cause cancer... all the more reason to avoid as much as possible IMHO though....

Yeah I like the BudXL by H&G. Use it with a sweetner, read up on it and you will see why this is a good combo.

I use it immediately following the 1 week of PK13/14, So if PK was all of week 4, then start BudXL week 5 and use it till chop or flush whichever you do. Btw cant really flush in the Coco if you plan to reuse it, must always use a small amount if nutes at least...

Raise them up a couple inches like you said, then let it evaporate...hopefully it does fast enough, should help add humidity lol. You want drain to waste, not drain to reuse by bottomfeeding.

What do I do? Drip / Drain to waste. I grow in an ebb & flow table so it runs in through the drip manifold, through the plants, through the channels in the ebb & flow table (below the plants), to a fitting which all the waste goes into a 5 gal bucket that I dump.

Figuring out the feed to waste part is the hardest thing about properly setting up a good coco feeding system.

Right on Az...i read a bit of that article very interesting.... what is bud xl? would it be like pk13/14 just different ratios is it a like a bloom maximizer.. or would it be like botanicares hydroplex (0-10-6)...ive been getting all my info on this thread from jberry and he was saying use the pk13/14 early bloom then goto a pk9/18 later in bloom..He also mentioned shooting powder, moab and great white...any experience with these?

No, it's more like Canna's Boost, just less expensive. Boost has a sweetener in it already, that's why you have to add your own. Biotanicare has a line of sweeteners called SWEET. I'm actually using the BudXL and Berry Sweet for my grow, thanks to AZ's advice. But aside from those, I use all the other Canna products, Coco A+B, rhizo, zym and PK. For my first grow ever, I'm quite impressed with my results thus far.

Use Canna's grow guide, it makes it soooooo simple. Just plug in a little info and BOOM, you're nute mixing is set. I'll only need help on adding BudXL and sweetener later in my grow (which I think as AZ mentioned, you add these the week after you use PK)

The BudXL helps extract sugars from large leaf brachts after they cease to function, which ocurrs the 2nd half of bloom.

Here is how to use the PK13/14 and BudXL/Sweetner combo:

Follow the Canna grow guide BBB pasted. Look at your plants, follow the stages.

Once the stretch starts to end and clusters of pistils start to form begin using the the sweetener. Use it until chop even through the flush if you do one.

Once the clusters of pistils develop then they will get longer, as soon as you notice the flowers stop growing up and begin to grow out (fatten up) start hitting them with PK13/14 for 1 week, you could go 10 days easily just to be sure you hit the sweet spot. Then you are done with PK13/14. As soon as you stop PK start using the BudXL.

Now use the BudXL at 1ml/L (3.8 / Gal) and add the sweetener BBB mentioned (or any other one of your choice). Follow the directions on the bottle of sweetener. For that one above I use 15ml/Gal and it's PLENTY.

Use both till the end, if you flush cut the BudXL but keep the sweetener.
