im sure its a def...

i cant see the rusting in the pics but it does not look like your plants r burned 2 me... where is the rusting... small circle spots between the veins or bigger blotchy areas of rust?

first signs of burn are the leaves turning dark, curling, and the very very tips of the leaves appear burned, and the leaves feel brittle, dry and kinda crispy on the edges.

Man ... you are making me think outside the box ive been in. i thought this whole time that it was a ph issue. maybe ... MAYBE ... i just overnuted in the beginning , and problems now are related to deficiencies ... not over nutrition. my god ...

dude for the past 7 days i may have been on entirely the wrong path ...

the lady at your hydro store is crazy... hopefully she isnt selling the canna nutes, because its obvious she isnt familiar with them...
canna themselves recommends adding 200 ppm's of cal/mag to their nutrients... they are designed for the 200 ppm's of cal/mag to be added to them by the grower and she should know that imo.

Your plants are looking top notch man. + rep

JBerry, thanks for all the hard work you put into this thread, loved it. Especially the parts where you answer the same damn questions over and over and over and over and over again without losing your composure.

I have fallen if love with COCO and Canna. The drain to waste is a little bit of a pain in the ass but that's pretty much the only pain I'm currently experiencing. :) I'm looking forward to seeing what the PK will do for me in a few weeks, I've just changed the light to 12/12 so from what I've read I'll be adding it to my mix in about 2-3 weeks. A few of my friends are watching my grow to see how it compares to there grows in quality and quantity.

I have supper cropped all of my ladies from the beginning and that alone is blowing my mind. Do you or have you ever femmed? I'm wondering if I should try it out on this round.

Thanks again.

Jberry , im guessing you have read zoo's canna coco schedule. What do you think about the whole using pk 13/14 through the whole cycle? He also does plain phed water every third water.

gotta link? I also use some sort of pk threw the entire bloom cycle... but change the ratio towards the end... no plain water tho.

http://www.thcfarmer.com/forums/f5/zoos-canna-coco-nute-feeding-schedule-2082/ here ya go j berry , when i first started out and knew NOTHING. This is what i based everything on. This thread is what got me through the darkness. nowadays though ... it seems like some things might be personal preference. check it out and lemme know what tha master thinks.

I checked the first few pages quickly and I personally wouldnt use those methods... nothing against zoo because it works for him.

I just think the plain r/o watering probably do more bad then good and the feedings seem a bit low... the way he uses pk is similar as the way i use mine... the reason the method works is because the plant only needs (and can only absorb) the higher levels of pk for a few short windows throughout the blooming period... It can be a lot of work and be very time consuming to figure out exactly when those windows are for your strain and environment... By feeding the pk the entire time the pk is being wasted and isnt absorbed by the plant you ensure that you are giving the pk at the correct time... the downfall is that you are wasting a lot of pk and it has negative effects on the activeness of your mycorrhizae as well.

hey jberry how long do you flush b4 harvest?
ita a the growers choice but usually around 4-7 days....... no less then 2-3 and no more then 1o-14 days i would say. If you flush for 2 weeks then you will lose yield for sure but it will likely be tastier.
