i posted earrrlier on in the thread about the 4 out of 5 hermies (greenhouseseeds). well the remainder plant has been harverested and i must say this is some of the tastied stinkiest herb i have come across in a long time, really strong kushy/diesely flavour with a really strange berry/gum aftertaste, it smells the same way it tastes (sorry for the vague description, but it does). yield was quite high, 10 ltre pot soil, hesi nutes, 250 hps = 96 grams dry. looks were dark green with really red pistills, extremelly crystally extremelly potent.
although i would never recommend greenhouse seeds, this little number will be taking up permanent residency next to my blue cheese.

I have some of the Green House Seeds Co Bubba Kush. How long should I veg them for? Until what height? 2 feet? Or is 20 inches good enough?

Also, will they grow alot higher once I put them in the flowering stage?

I'm not sure my outside greenhouse bubba vegged for about 7 weeks and then they started flowering. the one i have indoor has been under the light for 3 weeks and has put on good growth. They strech but not alot, enough tho if you want to keep it small

Cool. Well I have two. One has been Vegging for 4 weeks and is 20 inches tall and the other two weeks and is 8 inches tall. I know I have to wait for the smaller one to get bigger before putting them into the 12/12 flowering stage, but just wondering at what height for this strain? I am only struggling with this question because it's my first grow. I don't want to over veg it - if that's possible......

I got 8 outside bubbas, 3 different cuts, 2 from clone and 2 plants are the greenhouse bubba that I figured Id give it a run, although I think one maybe starting to hermie. Im going to have some pics up by the end of this week, Ive never dealt with any hermies ove the last few years so I would like for someone to check it out. Got some pretty big ones, all should be between 2-3lbs, biggest one I did the uncle ben topping method that I saw here on RIU, it worked frickin great, Id advise more people to check it out and experiement cause the only bubba I did it to outside it the biggest plant I have, tallest, fattest girl in the jungle, Im hoping for over 4 but we shall see how she stacks up here ove the next month. Sorry no pics, but I will have some up, I'll try and just show the bubbas here on this thread, sadly I think the cuts I had last year maybe were better but its still way too early for anything positive. Take care everyone, happy growing, Peace!!!!!

Hey man my bubba kush gets a little hint of purple around week 8-9....with the dense canopy bubba has i would recommend harvesting at two or three different times....wait about a week or two between the following harvests. this allows lower buds that have never received much light to do so. my bk around week 11 turns full purple...check the pictures out below...this purple does not come out till late in the game...they are not over ripened either because of lack of light.
i think lettin tops go this long will have a reverse effect...being that buds over ripen and begin to degrade thc. i think it has something to do with the age of the plant in flower....

look at the difference....first (cured) and second picture is tops harvested at 8.5 weeks (12/12), third picture is of third harvest reaped around week 11-12... both are great and smoke a little different.

How long do you flush and with what to give smooth clean taste or do you end up with a nuts taste after that

You can flush with just straight water, usually the last 2 weeks outside should be sufficient enough, sometimes inside you should flush a little more depending upon your soil and drainage capabilities. There are differrent products designed for flushing, Ive used a few before but I dont like the idea of using one chemical to flush other chemicals it just seems to kinda defeat the purpose in my opinion but they are designed for flushing purposes. About the above posts, Ive had different cuts of bubba over the last few years but most do develop the slight purple hue to the un-harvested buds, really goes away after being cured thoroughly. The only problem I ran into last year outdoor bubba was a couple of bigger colas left into middle november got some bud rot, which obviously pissed me off, cause it just happened to the absolute biggest football size tops that were being left out for the knock your dingle in the dirt stone, but 95% came out just fine. Ive got 3 different cuts this year of bubba outside, funny thing is so far I got 2 plants from Greenhouse that are much frostier than my other ones, for sure gonna be a week or two ahead of the other cuts, but so far Im actually impressed with the quality of bubba kush that I got from greenhouse that I got as freebies with some particular order from attitude, I really had low expectations being from nor california where obviously we have most of the best bubba in the world floating all around cali, maybe I just happened to catch the right pheno, but I took some cutting to run it inside to compare indoors aswell. One last thing, just my opinion is I like to let the bubba go a little longer, 10-11wks and its absolutely perfect smoke, its been one of my favorite nightime meds for years now. Flush the shit out of your plants, you want those leaves nice and yellow and falling off when you harvest, try to time harvest on a day that you would normally water so the plants arent super moist when you hang them, it helps the smell down the road after you cure for as long as you can hold out. I just opened another jar from outdoors last year and its stinks up the house for hours just opening it for a minute, weed really does get better with age as long as its stored properly, its absolute fire. Peace and Good luck, take care...

Hi all, this is my first post after following this thread for awhile. I had to join a forum that celebrates Bubba. I live in No. Cali and have been growing Bubba Kush outdoors for several years, all from clones. It is the only med that helps my migraine headaches which are crippling. I've tried all other varieties and only Bubba does the trick (it's also great for my insomnia). This year I bought 17 Bubba clones from a local dispensary and I noticed from the start that the plants looked different from previous years crops. The plants are bushier with many (between 40-50) nodes instead of the main stalk and several side stalks that bubba has shown in the past. The yield will probably be twice as big as last year. BUT, I'm doubting that these plants are the real deal Bubba more and more as they progress towards harvest. There are dark pink flowers all over the plants. I've never known Bubba Kush to have pink flowers before. There's not much smell yet and I'm about 6 weeks into flower. I have a feeling that my plants may be Pink Kush and if that's the case I doubt that it will be good medicine for me. Has anyone out there experienced the same thing this year? It has been a really cool and mild growing season with cool nights and I thought that may be the reason but I have three other plants (Lambsbread) that are not going pink and do not have any color except snowy white crystals oozing out of it. Do dispensaries trade varieties. I was hoping to take half of my crop and trade if for the real Bubba. I think that the Pink Kush will have good bag appeal.

was just wondering what the yield is on this bubba? It reminds me of a throw back I got from some humbolt seeds I grew out doors 35 years ago. I've just gone back to legal med grow in SOG format. anybody have any yield per light info? They look very inviting to try next spring (I'm at 6500 ft elev and in a shed so I only get one shot per year) Thanks for any info! I use 6x6 rockwool over coco mat hydro, gh nutes 4 1ooo watts 1 3x6 tray 1 4x8 tray.
