HA! I can 3d print this for about $5 in plastic, plus the cost of 2 mason jars or any wide mouth containers (or I can print some clear bottles to spec).. It might take me a few dozen tries, but plastic is cheap.

Should I design and print it?

If I do's it, I get's in trouble? My precious, this is a question?
