Seriously though, the NXE was worth the wait...

I just feel bad for all you Canadians and UK people who will continue to pay XBOX Live prices for movies and shit... I just set up my netflix account last night... $8.00 a month, and I will be able to instantly stream any and all of the netflix movies I want to my console... without ever having to "go to the mailbox and grab the DVD" or pay 250 gamer points.

Rofl, i have both a 360 and a Ps3, and in my opinion the ps3 is 100x better, hands down

Yeah, a club I go to has a PS3 in the smoking lounge... and in my experience, it sucks for multiplayer online gaming...

XBOX360>PS3...thats goes for games graphics quailty....and to everyone who says 360 doesnt last 2 long because of the rings of death i have had mine since the first winter it was out and it never broke once so thats juss everyone not takin care of there property

I don't know... I kinda liked the dash before the new update. There is too much promo shit and no easy access to stuff like my game trailers or new demos.

actually i had 2 that broke and they were mint, the red rings of death are hardware failure internally it just happens without any obstruction or anything. fucking 2 of them but at least they replaced them for free

wow sorry but i have to disagree 100%

I have an xbox 360, and used to have a ps3. I'll keep this brief but ps3 has up to 50gb of space to use for graphics quality on one disc (25gb single layer blu-ray, 50gb dual layer blu-ray) Developers have 50gb to use for the ps3, while they have 4.3gb for the xbox 360. now i'll admit that ps3 game use maybe 13-17gb now, but is still much more than an xbox. All that combined with 1080P allows for much better quality.

as for the red ring of death, xbox 360 has been noted to have a 16% chance to break, while the ps3 has less than 2%.

but i will agree on the xbox having better games and better online play... just i disagree with the quality.

i HATE the new xbox menu and interface, although it does look about 1000 times cooler its laggy, and its pretty confusing//annoying in general

the netflix app is killer.

the ps3 has maybe 1/25 games that play at 1080 most of them if your lucky are at 720 playstation has been lying about there graphics since day one I'll take my modded 360 with my 200 free games any day suck it game set match point 360 wins and the crowd goes wild rrrRROOOOOOOOOOOAAHAHHHAAHAH

oh as for teh ring of death it can be fix by means of a towel or 50cents in washers and new heatsink paste like towely always says "dont forget to bring a towel" and dont for get to get high

It is pretty badass.

Definitely something different. Almost feels like I went out and bought a new game system.

i feel as if the nxe is a bad cross between ps3 and Wii, with it forcing me to create some bull shit avatar and what not. I will admit that i smile and laugh when i hear my roommate trying to play the online playstation service and its lagging out, and me and my paid for xbox are zooming on past with great connections, but ps3 looks a lot more futuristic and intense. i hate to see the xbox turn into a kiddy gaming system like that of game cube.

well had a day or two to get used to it.

the avatar thing isn't too annoying. it does ask you to make one before you start but you can save some time by selecting a pre-made one. easy enough.

really liking the overall look and feel of this. looks real nice and after using a while is easy enough to navigate through.

I agree tho with the added promo and advertising influence they have worked into the new system, having to skip thru all that all the time is going to get old quick, ps3 just doesnt have all the games I like to play and then ones they only have suck balls anyway. NXE worth it.

i never have really like playstation.

isnt the ps3 layout just like the PSP? correct me if im wrong.

they never really seem to progress, whereas microsoft have come on leaps and bounds since their first console.

i remember seeing the PS3 new controller, looked like crap to be honest. not suprised they never used it.
