The New Site Critique Thread

I have wanted to update the website to something more professional and less cartoonish and EastCoast has worked queitly in the back ground creating this new look.
I would appreciate if some fellow educated weed nerds would give a look around and give me comments its time to take this to my people to see what they think

Hi Subcool, so far so good in what I looked at. Now when I opened the link the page is to big for my mini laptop. I need to use that slider thing down on the bottom to go left to right. Is that something on my end or is the website made to be viewed on a larger screen? I'm still looking.

You stopped selling Spacequeen/Spacejill...?
Site looks proffesional,family atmosphere,and easy navigation.
Testomonials are cliche,and unprovable but allways gave me a sense of a secure purchase.

When will you have your own forum up?

That would be really awesome, know it would take a lot of hard work and money but it would be an awesome place to hang out and document your genetics as they are grown by us (your consumers/supporters)

No sales on the site. I think he's in Cali and I think the USA government has a giant stick up there ass of cannabis. There are links to places you can buy from in the UK, Spain. There are some state in the US you can go to a place to buy seeds. I would love to be able to do this in my state. The pricks not voting on it.

Subcool I can hook you up with a cool Ratdog/ Deadhead forum guy. I really just call him a programmer. If you go to www.ratdog.org you can see an example of his work. Dave is the guys name. I have been on that site since 2001 or 2002. He might not charge much at all for your mission.

Looks cool man! Does look much more professional.
Only thing i can critique, is i do like the key bullet points for each strain, on the outside page, on the old strain guide. Like the whole harvest window, yield, and key features bit.
Other then that i dig it a lot more.

Not only am i impressed, allow me to extend a hand of friendship from the green mtn state of vermont. Patients here could benefit from educated, caring individuals like this. Burlington(biggest city in vermont) would be an ideal spot! In my eye's your part of the solution not the problem thankyou subcool!

Its beautiful Sub, love the family photos the most.....the "team" pic is very classy, and really warms up the site, so cool to see Titan in there!....also glad you changed the font in the strain discriptions, much easier to read.....

A big improvement over your old site Sub -- the only thing I would like to add as something on the wishlist that I have had since the old site is even more info in the strain guide and shots of different phenos. The info in there is not bad (standard for most seed listings), but it'd be nice if there were a way to expand the page or link to another page that has even more strain info on each.

The site looks very nice visually. The things I would like to suggest would be more consistency in how you line list the strains in the same format throughout.

1- All should list THC/THCv/CBD, currently only a few have this information.
2- Purhaps putting a more medical emphasys on the strains, ie in the same format you list pheno, height etc list the medical benefits such as good for sleep, pain etc. currently this information is in the body of the description of some of the strains.
3- Making the super soil percentage available for each strain might be beneficial.
4- This would be challenging to do but might be a first. Showing photos on the different phenos per strain and naming each pheno, golden ticket as an example.

Im just taking the point of view that not all of your customers are aware of the information on the forums when visiting your web site. Maybe it's time to host your own forum?

....i would love to see the most popular thread on this forum incorporated into the site......"TGA by Others".....you could have a Gallery that features the best photos chosen by you from the thread......the thread gets a ton of traffic, and would be something really special for all of us aspiring photographers to be featured on the site....it would also be a great way for new customers to check out all the different phenos, from all the different strains, grown by multiple methods....it would be one of a kind.
