CRISPR! Soon to be at work on various genetic disorders in humans: cystic fibrosis, sickle cell anemia, maybe autism. Soon to be at work curing diseases such as HIV. Already at work modifying the genome of food crops and creating... GM plants.
A conundrum for the progressives is approaching. How do they keep up the war chants against all the Kochsuckers, and trot out the fake studies that "demonstrate the cancer causing effects of GMO food crops" while CRISPR opens a whole new realm of medicine?
