The miracle of ambient and partial sunlight.

Let me get this out of the way.

This is my last grow. Probably for a long time. My landlord put a no grow clause in lease renewal. ( I can't afford to move )

He's been cool for years about letting red carders grow. But with 64 out everybody now can and some tenants really abused this.

Electrical fires and a flooding incident...not to mention downstairs nasty bug problem...gross.

So last grow and I'm pushing the limit on my card but don't have enough light for them. And again no money.

I usually only grow one or two because it's more then enough. ( I can get up to lb per plant, cured weight ) So I always have enough. I'm also disabled so one or two is all I can handle physically.

But now I have to grow enough for a year ( So I can either save enough to move or landlord relents...I've lived here for 13 years )

So in desperation I moved them from the old grow room to west facing room ( my bedroom ) hoping that the ambient light would at least help.

Should have done it years ago. I've put vegging plants out here during the day sometimes but never flowering ones. ( Due to lights being noticeable from street ) I wasn't worried about the cops..they know I grow..I was worried about being robbed.

They get ambient light from 8 :30 to sunset ( about 7:30 ) and 3 hours of direct...this is the part they love ! By the time harvest hits they should be getting 4 to 4 and half hours of direct.

I'm actually using less lights to grow more smoke due to ambient light and a few hours of direct. I even turn off the lights when they are getting sunned.

All plants are on schedule and fattening up nicely. I was expecting stretching and wispy buds...but that hasn't happened. They look nice...real nice.

My landlord was cool enough to give me to mid June to finish.

And No ! I won't grow stealth. Just not who I am.

Aiming for 3 to 4 lbs and my biggest problem is keeping them from poking above the window lip too much. I live on the second floor with no neighbors who have any view and doing the math I estimate they would have to be seven inches above the sill before any sign.

My bedroom is now crowded, noisy, bright and reeking...but I'll manage.

Thank you sunlight
