Great update. That a shame about the Tahoe whites. Oh well. I'm still in for the long haul. Your thread is one of the reasons I will log on to RIU. Keep it homie.

Hey Nugs - How do you know when seeds are ready to harvest?

Started raining tonight :(

Thanks,
Mo
the thing about seeds is you can't leave them on too long.....so the longer the better, as long as mold is not an issue....i am not sure if your sativa beans need more time to develop or not....pop a few out and see how they look, dark and stripped is good, pale green....not so much.......as a rule, i like to give my beans a full 5 weeks to mature after the pollination day.....

Cool - I am right at 6 weeks - pollinated on Friday October 5th. I peeled away a small part of the pod and the seed is still slightly green. The cold nights might be slowing them down a little.

Thanks,
Mo

remember that fresh "green" seeds will be a bit green in color, will darken quickly when drying out...

the beauty with clones, is you can pretty much hack them back to nothing, and they will take off....just chose a couple nice nodes, and hack away....you may also want to root-prune and repot at the same time, she will appreciate it.
Nugs,

what is this root pruning you speak of? As it sounds? And when, and how often do you apply this technique?

thanks!

root pruning is a technique used to keep moms long term or for using the same size pot when re-potting....you simply cut off 50% of the total root mass with a serrated knife, then re-pot into same container.....it gets rid of old tired root mass with built up salts etc, and stimulates the pruned plant to build a new fresh root system......

Nugs, this is my first post ever on rollitup. I want to thank you for improving our gardening methods. I did my doctors certification at the chronic certification center in t.c. I got your phone number from there about a year ago, on a TGA pamplet. We spoke one the phone once. Anyways, i need to know how to PM because i want to tell you something.
