haha rory, ye hopefully. just have to do a bot of measureing up tongiht then tomorrow gonna cut 2 sides off the cage then try and flaten it out and ned it to the size i need. just hope its big enough now.. i want it to do 2 plants. if i remember correctly it was on 24" wide, not wide enough for 2. just hope its tall enough that i can bend a bit of the upright flat to widen it. did that all make sense lol

The timer running with the lights is a bad call, I used to do that and the humidity spikes during the dark cycle...I lost like 2-3 ounces to bud mold for that very reason before.

i have it in a tent. thats why i was planning the long veg so that hopefully the oitside temps will be better when i flick to 12/12, and hence thats why i am thinking of doing a scrog because id say they will be pretty big after 8 weeks so the scrog should help.

yeah its stayed very mild over December and even now. Was just out in the car and it said it was 9 degrees, kinda strange for the beginning of Jan :s

ye was thinking about a foot. so ur saying i should led all the individual branches grow through then i loosely tie them down ( gonna use cable ties). would i train them to grow to the outer edges of the scrog.

Yeah, cos the size of your screen holes...
You can use pretty much anything to tie it down.. I use pipe cleaners and garden wire as they can be loosened off if needs be..

my plants are 4 weeks old today. The Fruit Automatic is flowering nicely, the Pakistan Ryder has dwarfed and is not flowering yet, and the Spicy White Devil is getting tall but also hasnt started to flower yet. They better get a move on!

Thats what's known as a "V" scrog or a "stadium" scrog..


Scrog is one of the best methods for getting the most weed from your plant

alright jay. i changed my mind about the cage and am now going to use the side of a cot bed. just going to run some string up and down it, its already got the vertical poles and i made 4 legs for it today. cut an upright from warehouse racking in to 4, gift. so now i can make my holesas big as i like in the scrog. what size would u recomend

The screen i used for my scrog were 1.5".They were a perfect size.

Anything from 1 and half up to 3 inch I guess..

Screen sounds like a great idea.. One thing I would watch for is the width of your poles on your screen as you don't want to be blocking any light but I'm sure it'll be fine..

Personally I wouldn't do it, if they have any dogs at the ports you'll be fucked..

Not a bad idea, Also got the seeds from the attitude promo, can't wait to grow the og kush and critical jack. I think i'll need to upgrade my carbon filter before that.

well just made my scrog haha it aint gonna win any beauty contests lol. but it was ment at a nice price 0 hehe just stuff that was lying about. think i might have overwatered alil bit. the babies were a lil droopy so not gonna go near them now till sunday. theyare a week and a day old today. will take a pic in a bit

put down another dinafem critical jack at 12 yesterday, went shopping and when i got back at 6 it had cracked n had a 1/4 inch root, very fast. any of yous had beans opo that quick?
normally takes at least 18 hours for other beans ive had to get to that stage.
