My next purchase: http://blackoutx.com/products/dry-herb-rechargeable-kit

My buddy that lives in seattle had one of these bad boys and I loved it. We are all from austin texas so when we meet up we are in, the most liberal city in the state, texas and they have no love for the bud unless your in austin but still don't want to get jacked up on a holiday. It vaped awesome, dry and liquid and with so many people with vape pens know for tobacco nobody noticed not in restaurants, theater, shopping centers, bars, etc. We took it everywhere, so today I am going to order one for me.

And it always vaporized the bud never combusted it. Its my favorite and bud henson the comedian with the youtube show "Getting Doug with high" on youtube.

Well I pulled the trigger and bought the blackoutx dry herb+, I'm kind of leery of vape pens because as of yet there is no true "vaporizer" pen meaning they have no set temperature and if you hold the button down to long and heat it up to much you combust the herb so I guess there is a learning curve to it.

I also bought one of these: http://www.storz-bickel.com/shop_us/en/shop/all-items/crafty-mighty-filling-aid.html

herbholder.jpg it is a case meant for the crafty but you can store ground up herb in it for on the go and since the blackoutx has small herb chambers this will come in very handy. Oh and I went to the store today and bought some platinum OG, never had it so I'm looking forward to it although it wasn't cured for shit its straight off the plant but it is very frosty.

HAPPY GREEN YEAR

Pens are best for wax/oils. great for stealth but not so good for nice green bud. Charing kills the flavor. If you where good with the MFLB you should be good with the pen.
The grasshoper should be the first pen style for green that has a heat control, still waiting for that one.

Yeah I have the MFLB but never use it anymore since i purchased the solo a couple years ago. I only want a pen for going to movies or concerts, the pax would be good for that but I don't feel like spending close to $300 when I have a great portable. Never heard of the grasshopper I'll have to check it out.

So far the blackoutx is "suppose" to be the best.

I checked out the grasshopper and i am very very impressed with it. I got on the waiting list, hope it works as advertised. Finally a pen with no metal coil.

mmmmmh......thats a respectable piece of kit and pretty affordable now that I have regular employ. Might be worth the punt. Course now I have no green green to put in it till the next grow so might be a while yet. The freakishly mild weather here means I have been able to turn the compost twice in the past few weeks and now have it cooking indoors. Now all I have to do is de-xmass the house for a bit of space and away we go.

Yeah I checked out the inhalator but I don't like the way it looks, cheap and kind of like a dildo.

I should get my blackoutx today

Inhalater is just a brand name. dont have one aniways
IN PICTURE left to right pinnacle pro, arizer air. arizer solo.
Cheers. Just getting started on the vapes. The de buhha is ok once you get used to the temp mettings. The mflb is fecked. Gonna see about cost of warranty and repair. Starting to germ seeds tonight. Going with 2x critical jack, 1x amnesia haze (auto) and the black domina x maple leaf indica. Prob add a bagseed for curiosity. Still havent finalized the new grow setup. I am set on the 5" centrifugal as an exhaust via filter. I will be venting into the room. That just leaves the intake. I have a choice with a 5" inline or 4 " centrifugal for outside intake. Will prob go with whatever is quietest.
The plan is to germ to seed in aldi propagation chamber and into pots under 1600k cfl before switching to 400w mh. Cause of the kit I have picked up, for once I am stuck for choice. This will be my first ever run with "proper" kit eg tent, proper extractors etc.
A part of me feels like I am cheating somehow..lol/
Soil will be home brewed compost mixed with perlite. This is making me nervous.
I am not planning on feeding fert till flower and will be using bio-bloom and tesco mineral water.
Any advice/comments on setup will be welcome.

Blackoutx combusts, fuck anything with a metal coil unless you're vaping oils. The Grasshopper is going to be it I can feel it.

Oh shit buds you have the arizer air, very nice, I still have my trusty solo.

ghostdogalpha: if you are in the market for a vape, a portable one at that, the arizer solo or air, pax, or crafty would be your best bet, IMO that is.

I haven't grown nor have I needed to or really wanted to with being able to get high grade bud easy and most of the time free from my buddy that works in the grow part of a medical dispensary not a regular legal dispensary. The legal for everyone stores are good but are usually low on a lot of strains because of the tourists but the medical ones are always well stocked. I picked up 8 grams of green crack last saturday or was it friday?

Thanks for the tip @md. I will wait till I have something worth vaping in a few months before I splash the cash. I enjoy the research though.

Is there any evidence that there is much of a tourist trade in state's where it is legal? I am thinking about Amsterdam style tourism rather than just local state interest.

MFLB lifetime warranty, too much trouble chanching batterys etc.
Smaller intake than exaust, most of the time there is no need for intake fan especialy if your getting outside air.

@ghostdogalpha: for sure, denver and seattle are very happening with the tourism market now that they have legal cannabis. Denver is by far the best since they got everything up and running first and you can buy concentrates in Denver or anywhere there is a cannabis dispensary for anyone 21 and over. You can smoke everywhere here in Denver although I would stick to the stores smoking areas or pay for a cannabis tour where you are taken around in a limo with several other people going to several stores and smoking your ass off in the vehicle with a sober chauffeur. The cannabis is top notch, never been to Amsterdam but have a couple of buddies that have and they said the bud were they live, Seattle & San Francisco, is better for the most part. Cali probably has the best in the US due to tons of outdoor grows since the northern end of california's climate is perfect for growing and there is tons of indoor as well. Denver has a lot of talent in the growing and breeding pool and some amazing strains have come out of Denver as well or in the state of Colorado.

Are you in Ireland? If so Amsterdam would be much much cheaper, I wish the states that are legal would adopt the coffee shop style that Amsterdam has. I know you can only get 5 grams, I think, in Amsterdam but in Denver you can get 1/4oz from each store and in Seattle you can get an 1oz but no concentrates just edibles without a medical card.

As of now cannabis is legal in Washington, Washington D.C., Alaska, Oregon, and Colorado and soon California, Michigan and Maine but Colorado is really the only one that is fully set up for the tourism but Seattle is catching up.

Thanks @bud.
My MFLB is second hand. Not sure about warranty situation. If I use a hi-cap battery I get a bit of heat but thats it, no vapeing. I was just hopeing it could be an easy fix. The dabuddha is pretty cool. Very clean smoke but not much flavour.
I will be going with a smaller intake than out. I might just try with extractor only to start.
I guess my question is this....I have a single source of outside air intake/vent via the rooms 4" hole in the wall. I was planning on using this as my air in and venting the waste heat straight back into the room. Would I be better of reversing this...ie. venting to outside via hole and have air in via room temp?

Cheers @MD. Its mad living in one country and seeing how another country does stuff...and yeah I am from Ireland. To be honest, a trip to the States would be a lot more interesting than to the Dam due to the amount of relations and mates I have over there. Plus....and its a big plus....part of my bucket list would be to travel to a US shooting range and get to experience all the guns I have only ever seen/known about via my love of gaming. I am not a gun nut or anything...but the grass is allways greener etc....

Gawd...its such a pain in the arse getting back into the work thing after the break. In fairness, today was handy enough....I took the option to pull a lot of kit off site and repair at home/workshop rather than stay on site.
I really, really hate fixing printers. Just hat to get that off my chest.
