Check this out get it just for the hexk of it it's cheap and it's 400 watts unless power consumption is an issue a 150 watt system puts out about 16,000 lumens, this with the good bulb puts out 55,000 lumens.. And the extra bulb is only 40 bucks so you would spend about 140 bucks total plus shipping for 55K lumens...

Or you can go with the cheap bulb knock 40 off the cost so 100 bucks plus like 20 shipping and you got about 49K lumens

for hid lighting rule of thumb is 42watts per sq foot for good plant an bud growth...for cfls it goes by lumens per sqfoot....as for hempy sog that excatly what i do now.....rinse the per-lite for dust control only imo.....peace az

my issue isnt power consumption I would love to go 400w even 1000w but with the size of my space HEAT is my concearn I have a hard time keeping it under 85 with the cfls, I may do some minor remodeling and go with a 4ft 4bulb h/o t5 from htg its 20k lumens and 200 some odd watts, I can do some sawing andmake my closet wider, the wife wont mind that as much as me cutting holes in the ceiling to vent heat lol, I am hoping I can get 10 plants under that without a problem what do you guys think??

A 3x3 with 10 plants and only 150 watts is not enough u need to get a 250 watt system thats what I am a 250watt HPS.. My flowering area is 3x2x6 foot tall and I am using a nice vent fan that wasn't too much it moves like 340 cfm.. You should use the same vent fan or something similar it would displace the air in your closet in about 60 seconds..

That means it would take all the old air out and pump fresh air into the room in 60 seconds... What you could do is buy a cheap thermostat control and hook it up to the fan so the fan turns on when it hits say 82 degrees and shuts off when it hits 78 degress... Or something along those lines..

You can look at my journal and see the pics I have in there currently.. But I just received my new vent fan yesterday and I am waiting on mylar to come.. I am in no hurry cause my plants are only on like day 7 of veg so I have time ti finish my setup..

I am also waiting on my Clone Box I ordered from HomeGrowBox to come it is gona be my new mothering and vegging area.. It's gona be fucking sweet I got 2 20k lumen T5's coming for it as well :mrgreen:

I'm using a grow tent that gives me 2 sq feet of grow space. I have a T5 hood that has 2 55watt tubes, total of 10,000 lumens. This enough?

This hempy thread is great,,ive got 5 plants growing hemp style in 10lt buckets under a 600w hps. I was overfeeding at first but now they are really looking good. My run off water is ph 6.0- 6.4 do you guys reckon this is a ok range?

thats were i keep mine with no problems as far as ph....if im not mistaken when going be lumens you want like 10-20k per sq foot....you cfls guys can step in an correct me if im mistaken.....peace az

AZ when you say you water twice and then heavy feed, does that mean i should mix my nute solution full stength as the directions say? Thanks.

Im using 2 part hydro nutes .one bottle is 2.8-0-6.0 the other 2.0-1-1.2. The plants are 4 weeks old under 600w HPS. I think ill just go 3/4 strength for the heavy feed and see how it goes.

Wont the full strng burn the fuck out of the plants if they are not ready for it??

thats why i asked what all his conditions are....npk lights plantage....an looking by the age an npk value of those nutes an light he's using....i assume those plants will be able to handle the full strength by the forth week of veg i am normally full dose feeding an some strains like fadeds raft get fed at 150% cause they are nute hungry....but like my ogk an dogcut dont like nutes much so we keep her fed light....start with the 3/4 but if you start noticing a n def. make sure to up it to full dose...peace az

Im going to buy some canna nutes for my hempy plants they are in 100% perlite. If anyone else is using canna can you tell me if I should be using the aqua or subtra line?CANNA-AU.com - Products Thanks.
